Mousse énormément. Bulles assez grosses. Couleur brun caramel et colet de mousse d’un beau brun pâle. Odeur de beurre. Ronde en bouche. Goût caramélisé. L’alcool est assez présent en attaque.

33 cl bottle. Very little yeast at the bottom. Bown colour with a weak head. Very little aroma of roasted malt and dried fruit. Very sweet flavour of malt, complexity and dried fruit nearly like portwine. Ends with a warm feeling from the alcohol. Very tasty endeed.

Dark brown with a bubbly beige head. A good looker. The aroma hasn’t got the yeastiness I was expecting; it’s sweet and spicy with a hint of lemon. The taste is sugary and malty, full of fig and plum overtones, with strong alcoholic notes and a bitter aftertaste.

33cl bottle. Pours a beautiful hazy dark-red with an medium creamy beige head. Fruity and funky spices aroma. Medium body, very yeasty, dark fruits (dates, grapes), cinnamon-like spices, rather sweet. Feels like drinking a melted cinnamon bun. Some burnt caramel/rubber in the finish. My below-everybody-else rating comes from my firm belief that beer needs cinnamon flavours as much as fish need bicycles.

Hazy dark brown, with reddish highlights, with an explosive collar of tan foam , leaving nice laces, the nose is one of sweet caramelized malt and toasted malt, with a fruity note of figs, dates, raisins, and also candied orange peels and brown sugar in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a sweet malted character, caramelized malt note, with a chocolatey accent, a dark fruits fruitiness of figs, dates, plums and raisins, and even coming up with a far porto accent, leading towards a sweet and faintly hoppy finish.
