Aroma: esteri fruttati (uva passa, frutti rossi, pera e banana matura), spezie e caramello, cacao, note oleose. Palato: Corpo medio-pieno, carbonatazione medio-alta, alcol ben nascosto, uva passa, caramello, frutti rossi, malti tostati e finale amaro. Retrogusto dolce smorzato dall'amaro finale, dopo qualche secondo l'alcol "di ritorno" scalda la bevuta. Di facile beva, una buona Dubbel.

Butelka, warka do 11.09.15. BardzWysoka, kremowa piana, opadajaca w ten elgijski sposob, coraz wieksze pecherzyki. Zostajaca na szkle. Samo piwo bardziej w brazowych tonach niz wiekszosc dubli majacych w sobie cos z odcieni czerwieni, leciutko metnawe, ciemne.

750ml corked bottle served in a chalice. A: Pours a very dark amber to brown color forming a huge creamy and thin bubbled beige head. Great retention and lots of thin spotty lacings formed in the glass. S: Strong notes of sweet malts. Bubblegum. Flowery hops. A bit boozy. T: Sweet and very malty upfront. Strong notes of caramel, crystal malts, sweet bread. Hints of bubblegum. Light hops bitterness in the end. M: Heavy molasses body. Medium carbonation. Sweet caramel in the aftertaste. O: Good drinkability. Sweet and molasses Belgian style beer.

750 ml bottle. BB 21/02/16. From Terry! Cheers!
As a drink in our kinkunvalvojaiset (it’s needlessly to translate... it won’t translate well)... Very nice clear ruby red colour with a huge foamy tan head. Dark dried fruits, some sweet malt, mild metal and some sugary sweetness in the aroma. Not bad. The flavour is really nice surprise... dried fruits, dried berries, sweetness, brown sugar, malt and some candies. Not bad at all. No alcohol around. Well this ain’t exactly the first beer of the evening but still no signs of alcohol. Balanced and tasty.

75cl bottle shared in a Kasteel glass. Pours a dark garnet to brown colour with an impressive creamy, off-white head which lasts well. Aroma is typical Belgian brune with very nice malty notes and estery dark fruits. Taste is toffee, prunes, dates and the faintest richness of coffee giving way to a slight bitterness in the finish. Slightly thinner mouthfeel than expected but overall an excellent example of the style.
