It has a reddish tinge and a reasonable light brown foam. Smells wonderful of malt and fruit, but the smell is not particularly significant. It actually tastes really good fruit, toasted malt and hops bitterness is very nice balanced with the other flavors. The hops do not steal the taste of fruit and malt. I think that it is a great and lovely ale.

Bottle, 8.1%. The aroma is faintly sugary with a hint of iron. Clear dark brown colour. Small tan head. The flavour is sweet and herbal with a hint of iron as well. On the sweet side, but fairly balanced by the alcohol. Good mouthfeel.
