Bottle. Hazy gold, with thick white head. Banana, candy sugar, lemon drops, wheat, sweet artificial fruit candy, and light spice. The body is clean and slick. It’s okay, but too artificial tasting in my opinion.

strong wit - interesting and good stuff. Poured with a decent white head that lasts and some lace. Color is a yellow with some white tones. Aroma is very beery. Flavor is good, light on the spice, slightly tart with a few notes of sweetness. Excellent body and carobonation. A little boozy in the finish, but still really drinkable. Could be a session.

750ml From Whole Foods. Cloudy and golden with an initially thick white head that settles down to a thin head covering the top with light lacing. Aromas hint of lemon, citrus, yeast and wood. Creamy satisfying body with medium carbonation. Light bitterness in the flavor which is somewhat bland. Overall an ok brew with seemingly quality ingredients just not at the top of the style.

A- Body is a very cloudy translucent straw yellow. Pours with a foamy 1-2 finger white head. Head eventually fades to a thin collar and leaves some traces of lacing behind in the glass. Cloudiness is thick and somewhat dynamic with a hint of brown yeast sediment lurking in the bottom of the glass. S- Smell is light and fruity. Lemon and orange citrus scents are the highlight with a hint of coriander and a bready yeast in the background. T- The flavor is like the smell but much more subdued. The overall impression is sweet with sweet citrus upfront and a low but noticeable yeasty backbone. A hint of coriander comes through for the finish along with an even more subtle hint of floral hop flavor and bitterness. The finish is otherwise pretty clean with nothing lingering on the palate. P- Low to medium tingly carbonation. Mouthfeel is very light and has a bit of a yeast presence but is thinner than I like for the style. O- This is a pretty good witbier. The 7.5% is very well hidden especially considering the thin mouthfeel. There is no noticeable presence of alcohol presence whatsoever and this drinks like a 3-4% session beer. Not my favorite of the style but still one I would have again. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 01-06-2009 05:10:49

Pours cloudy yellow with lots of brown floaties, a thick white head and a fruity aroma. There is a substantial bready malt flavor with a yeast chaser. This is darker and more flavorful than most witbiers I have consumed, and is still just as refreshing.

Hazy yellow pour with a fizzy head. Some yeast, light fruit and spice. A bit too sweet, but decent.
