On tap @ Max’s BBF. Pours a very hazy golden color with a small white head. Spicy aroma, very bready body; dough, with a small hint of citrus. Not bad.

Excellent wit. Pours hazy yellow with thick white head. Aromas of citrus and bread. Flavors of sweet bread, orange and spice.

22 oz bottle: pours cloudy straw, golden with a decent off white head. Bread yeast, citrus lemon zest, pungent earthy notes. Milky consistency with a thicker mouthfeel. Sedimentation allows the spices to concentrate and hit you with that added kick expected in an Imperial. This is a hard style to differentiate in and this offering surely is distinctive.

The aroma was sweet tropical fruits when first poured into the glass. The aroma was only lightly citrus and the spice presence seemed more pepper than coriander. The beer poured into the glass lightly hazy golden amber with an off-white very low yet lasting head. The flavor was lightly fruity, again more tropical fruits similar to canned fruit cocktail. Wheat flavor was notable, but spices were very muted and had a light peppery note and something else which was not quite coriander, more cinnamon in nature. The body was medium or just above with a moderate level of carbonation and creamy texture on the palate. The finish was just dry with light lasting tropical fruits and in the final aftertaste a bit of peppery spice. Alcohol was hidden throughout, but came through in the warming which occurred post consumption. An OK beer, certainly not much in common with a traditional Witbier, more of a Belgian Pale with an alcohol kicker. 750 ml corked and bailed bottle. Purchased at Green’s in Greenville, SC.

nice white right here, good nose of spice, and the palate is smooth citrus and coriander. Great medium bodied choice for the mild winter.

750ml bottle. Pours hazy golden yellow with small white head. Smell is spicy with clove and banana. Taste has a sweet smooth wheat body, and notes of clove, banana, spice and sweet flowers. Med bodied. Med-high carbonation. After taste is sweet, spicy and has a little alcohol. This is a strong wit. good stuff, but not too exciting.

A weightier Wit, nearly the same as its airier cousins (great head of foam, lively palate, solid flavor, etc) but with a nice bit of Imperial ballast

hazy yellow orange pour with huge fluffy white head, the aroma is very yeasty with a hint of orange citrus and lemon, tasty brew and very refreshing

pours a lively frothy consistant head that sticks with it the whole glass. Cloudy appearance with sediment that settles on the bottom. Taste of citrus and funky fruit. Tastes almost like tropical fruit. Cleaner palette than other similar beers I’ve had. Pretty sweet but great for a glass or two. Would buy again.

Better than your typical witbier. Pours a beautiful golden color, with a small but well formed head. Aroma is very noticeably malt, while flavor is dominated by a more flowery, hoppy taste. Ends malty and sweet. Will definitely be buying again.
