Flasche 33cl. Obergäriger Duft, erinnert an belgische Klosterbierhefe. Geschmack breit, brotig, sehr süß, kaum Hopfen, alkoholischer, esteriger Abgang. Unschön. Schade.

Rien d’extraordinaire

Bottle @ DØE meeting. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, yeast, bread, honey, light grassy hops. Flavor is rather sweet with malt, yeast, honey, grass, light fruity, apples, light alcohol. Thin to medium body, lively carbonation. 150513

330ml brown bottle - Christmas gift. Glowing gold colour. Very sweet - dripping with honey. Few hops. Moderate yeast spice. Foamed on opening, though no residue. Perfumey - suggestive of both/either hot fermentation / high abv. Light body and cleanliness suggestive of cold fermentation and/or lagering. Quite inoffensive and drinkable, though rather one dimensional, and a little too sugar sweet for my taste.

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, golden colour with a blond and short foamy head. Sweet malty with a tinge of caramel and a fruity touch of ripe apples. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Malt-accented and slightly fruity taste; sweetish malty and slightly fruity finish with notes of alcohol shining through. Unexciting. 10.III.11

Bov (9492) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - NOV 22, 2010
from Mondial de la Bière 2010, Strasbourg - slightly hazy dark golden colour with a little foam left; chewy malts and dark fruits marmalade in the nose; a good malt body and sweet, moderate carbonation and quite sticky palate, no bitterness and some residual sugars in a quite long fruity finish - boring

Tap@Mondial. Light fruity and malty aroma. Yellow colour, white head, good lace. Fruity, light bitter, light dusty. Dry mouth feel for a Triple.

No head, beautiful golden colour. Sweet malts, bit of banana, like the Weizen; and mineral water quality. Banana, bit of bitterness in the finish, stale cookies. Again a too carbonated beer, well-attenuated probably as well. Not a bad beer in se, but to call it " triple" - or even " triple fermented", as the label states, is slightly ludicrous.
