COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottles: 33cl with crown cap, 75cl with cork and muselet.
Barrels: 15l, 20l and 30l.
Alcohol volume: 8.5% ABV
Colour and sight: Golden blond, multigrain beer with a very persistent, lacing head.
Scent: A complex smell, with a citrus aroma, followed by hop aromas such as Saaz, Brewers Gold and Amarillo.
Flavour: Initially rather sweet, because of the alcohol. The intense taste and roundness mask the presence of high bitterness.

Bier met een een sterke smaak van gist. Geeft hem een bijzondere smaak maar mij iets te krachtig en muffig.

Served in a tulip from a bottle. Pours golden colour with medium head. Aroma is malt, bread, yeast. Taste is bread and yeast with banana notes. Quite heavily carbonated, almost prickly. Nice one.

33cl bb06/2018, dutifully revisited after at least 5 blissfull Guillotine-free years... Bref: A fuming grave for heaps of fusely peach molding over, stressed yeast and sugary cereals. - Macro soap pores for a head, ridiculously sugar-sweet in aroma (old macrobakery peach tarts going stale in a Lidl bin), slick and coating the palate in unhealthy refined sugars, with an empty mid (artificial lemon, banana) and an obstructing metallic bitterness reminding me of cooked leek, unripe banana peel, old bread yeast and chestnut husks. - Even after three small sips at 3 different temperatures and the following drainpour this remains an instant headache in a milk ceramic vase. Well after the 200th celebration of the French Revolution, French and Hungarian exports seem to be booming...

Draught at Delirium Cafe on 25-Apr-2016. Clear golden amber colour with a medium sized white head. Aroma of caramel, sweet fruit and pine. Medium body and carbonation. Sweetish taste of molasses, orange peel and lemon citrus. Slightly bitter alcoholic finish. Not a bad Belgian strong ale.

Bottle. Pours a hazy orange with a mostly lasting thin off white bubbly head. Aroma is of caramel, spice, orange, bread. Taste is of brown sugar, warm spices, hint of pepper, some bitterness and warming alcohol notes on the finish. Light oily mouthfeel, medium to hard carbonation.

UPDATED: APR 15, 2016 Good, nothing fancy though. The aroma is fruity but spiced. Has a well malted body with extra carbonation. Taste is bittersweet. Notes of cereal and citric fruit.

Bonne strong ale assez typique. Alcool présent mais bien équilibré. Belle robe ambrée. Mousse assez persistante. Bonne carbonatation. Un bel équilibre général.

Good looking golden coloured beer. Clear appearance topped with white, big, frothy head. Lacing is not so sticky. Very fresh fruity aroma, mostly peaches maybe oranges. Light cereal, later some herbs appear. Well balanced rather dry taste. Medium bodied palate. Soft carbonated, bit spicy. Pleasant spicy, warming. Watery. Long dry finish. Delicious beer, but not do special. There are plenty of beers like this and much cheaper
