COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottles: 33cl with crown cap, 75cl with cork and muselet.
Barrels: 15l, 20l and 30l.
Alcohol volume: 8.5% ABV
Colour and sight: Golden blond, multigrain beer with a very persistent, lacing head.
Scent: A complex smell, with a citrus aroma, followed by hop aromas such as Saaz, Brewers Gold and Amarillo.
Flavour: Initially rather sweet, because of the alcohol. The intense taste and roundness mask the presence of high bitterness.

Pours copper with a foamy head. The aroma is a mix of sherbet, banana and that lovely Belgian yeast smell. The taste is strong with the Belgian yeast but not much else other than some stringent alcohol. A dry mouthfeel.

Highly carbonated, huge head. Aroma of malts, alcohol, and a bit of hops or citrus. Tastes dry, malty, and bitter because of the alcohol. Beer intense in alcohol, but not much in flavours.

Nogal een hoge bittere na-smaak, de smaak zelf is op zich goed, een donkere kleur.

UPDATED: NOV 18, 2015 Pours amber with a nice white head. Aromas are nice, herbal, notes of cereal. The taste is fully charged with alcohol though. If someone had told me that this one was a 13% beer I would have believed them. But it is only 7%... bad, bad balance* that worsens the taste. The texture is quite watery, if however it is medium body and the finish is neither too shot nor too long. The alcohol taste - it seemed almost like fortified beer! - is a let down. -------& Maybe it’s a bad batch, or a particularly old bottle. However, I’m not going to have this one again in the near future to compare...

A very nice belgian hoppy golden pale ale. First smell is a little underwhelming but really pleasant. First sip immediately dives in. Lots of flavour, some bitterness, hops dancing on your tongue. A really good brew. ---Rated via Beer Buddy (iOs)
