Colour and sight: Golden blond, multigrain beer with a very persistent, lacing head.
Scent: A complex smell, with a citrus aroma, followed by hop aromas such as Saaz, Brewers Gold and Amarillo.
Flavour: Initially rather sweet, because of the alcohol. The intense taste and roundness mask the presence of high bitterness.

Very hazy orangish gold color witb a huge, foamy white head. There is a lot of sediment in suspension. The aroma has notes of spice, yeast and wet stone. The flavor has notes of ripe, danky dough and some sweetness. The finish is a little dry

Bottle at home. One year old. Has a golden straw color with some yeast residue floating around, and a large, creamy, off-white colored head. In addition, the beer is quite carbonated. The aroma has a distinct character of the Belgian yeast and further notes of lime, grass, pale malt and some spice. A bit careful aroma, but classic and good. The taste is more sweet with hints of citrus and hay. In addition there’s a lot of alcohol and makes it feel unbalanced. Mouth feel is smooth and full-bodied, and the beer has a medium bitterness. Has a nice aroma, but the taste does not feel as balanced.

Golden yellow pour, white carbonated head, lots of white lacing around the glass. Aroma - very interesting, sour fruit cake, mild lemon, white grapes, very vicious and booze. Taste - mild lemon sour up front, fades quickly, some spices, mild sweetness, finishes bitter with a bit of booze. Really interesting brew

0,33l fles.

Rating #804 - January 13, 2014 - Post work 33cl beer bottle from Coop - Trying to get through this review without a Robespierre joke. Clear golden pour with a bubbly white head that fades to a ring. Aroma is booze, grassy hops, and yeast. Palate is initially sweet and boozy, prolonged sourness, and lots of cool sweet citrus, grassy bitterness. Quite nice for a sourish tripel. Pity is treason. Damnit.

Una típica belga. Una gran corona de espuma blanca. Olor flora. Sabor floral, cítrico. Semiseca. Gran equilibrio entre cuerpo y gas.

Poured a clearish orange although there are definitely some murky yeast or carbonation bubbles kicking around and the head and lace retention are great. Citric and some sweet fruit and definite yeast and spicy nose as it is a particularly strong beer. Crisp, light bodied, passes easy, great balance between a crisp edge thanks to spice and carbonation and a smoothness from yeast as well as some sweet fruit flavors like mango or pineapple as well as crisp citric orange. Alcohol started to warm the finish and hit me as I drank but overall this is a really enjoyable ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

33cL. Bottle. Home. Clear golden sparkling beer where you can see bubbles stalagmites. Gorgeous. Indecent huge white long lasting head ! Aroma of spices, sugar, floral, citrus note with exotic fruits. After short light sourness, sweetness gets stronger with medium bitterness. Texture is thinner than I expected. Good carbonation. Bittersweet finish. A very good belgian strong ale with 3 cereals like Tripel Karmeliet. A bit too sweet for a beer called "Guillotine", don’t you think ?

0,33 l bottle from Vinmonopolet. A fluffy shiny white head, covering a near clear orangey-yellow body with some micro-floaters drifting around. Initial aroma i light sour-aciduc fruity, followed by a scent of semi-dry pale malts and faint grassy and flowery hops. Medium to full body. Awesome champagne-like effervesence. Taste is simple an delicious. Soft dryish pale malts, a fresh yellow fruit flavor, and some fine fruity/grassy/floral bittering and flavoring hop. Sparkling, dry friuity, gently bitter finish. Really good stuff.
