RATINGS: 702   WEIGHTED AVG: 3.33/5   EST. CALORIES: 255   ABV: 8.5%
Bottles: 33cl with crown cap, 75cl with cork and muselet.
Barrels: 15l, 20l and 30l.
Alcohol volume: 8.5% ABV
Colour and sight: Golden blond, multigrain beer with a very persistent, lacing head.
Scent: A complex smell, with a citrus aroma, followed by hop aromas such as Saaz, Brewers Gold and Amarillo.
Flavour: Initially rather sweet, because of the alcohol. The intense taste and roundness mask the presence of high bitterness.

Clear gold, white head. Cereals, caramel and brown sugar. Balanced sweetness and bitterness, nothing special though. Leaves a strange light bitter aftertaste.

F: huge, ivory-coloured, pretty stable. C: deep gold, a little hazy. A: hay, straw to floral hops, hint of spicy, citrus, grainy, hint of fruit and yeast. T: sweet malty, alcohol warming, complex hoppy bitterness on the palate, quite dry, spicy, citrus, apples, medium body, good carbonated, good balanced malt with a lot of bitterness but pretty drinkable, I like it, 0,33l bottle from beer festival in February in Brugge.

Pours clear amber with a thick, frothy ivory head. Strong aroma presents fruity, malty and resiny hop tones. Flavor delivers hoppy and citrus notes like an IPA, but minimal bitterness; malt and pear notes balance these and provide a little sweetness. A hint of wood peeps through as well. Body is viscous, and fizz is firm and lasting. Go on, lose your head!

UPDATED: AUG 4, 2016 Bouteille blanche 33. Couleur orange un peu troublée. Belle mousse blanche. Saveurs fruitées avec des notes d’agrumes. Une belle longueur d’amer pas agressif.

Deep golden colour, two fingers head that fades soon. Great lace. Smell is malty, yeast, dried fruits, slithly citrus, peach. Medium to full body, fizzy carbonation. Palate is thick and astringent. Taste is spicy, candied sugar, fruits. alcohol is very noticeable, as it warms your throat and stomach. Dry and astrigent finish.

Pours copper with a foamy head. The aroma is a mix of sherbet, banana and that lovely Belgian yeast smell. The taste is strong with the Belgian yeast but not much else other than some stringent alcohol. A dry mouthfeel.
