Barrels: 15l, 20l and 30l.
Alcohol volume: 8.5% ABV
Colour and sight: Golden blond, multigrain beer with a very persistent, lacing head.
Scent: A complex smell, with a citrus aroma, followed by hop aromas such as Saaz, Brewers Gold and Amarillo.
Flavour: Initially rather sweet, because of the alcohol. The intense taste and roundness mask the presence of high bitterness.

Pours a clear golden colour with a frothy white head. Aroma of lemon and light citrus hops. Taste is mildly sweet with basically no bitterness, quite balanced. Light body, smooth on the palate, and soft carbonation. Overall, I quite enjoyed this beer.

Bottled 19/07/14. A golden coloured beer with a loose white bubbly head. A typical Belgian yeasty beer but it’s a bit lightweright especially at this strength. No great depth of falvour and booze is unobtrusive. It’s OK but no more,

It’s an aromatic beer, especially the taste. Aroma’s of several hops and some flowery hints in the nose. Bitter and a little sweet at the same time. It’s a nice and refreshing beer.

Best before date of May 16, 2015. A loud pop when I pulled the cork out, it pours a medium gold with a 2 finger head of foam that seems to keep on growing...well above the lip of my glass. The smell is of citrus hops, some spice..err...peppery notes, a real dank kind of smell that you get from some well made IPAs. It’s pretty hoppy from the get go but I DO get a smidgeon of sweetness deep beneath that biter flavour and there is a nice peppery sort of spiciness going on. The citrus, malt, yeast, and pepper are doing a good job of satisfying my palate and the alcohol is there but not invasive. Medium bodied for the most part; it thins out a tad in the finish. I had never heard of this brew but it’s very enjoyable and easy drinking and dry enough to make it "thirst quenching", if there’s such a thing with beer. :^)

Draught @ Le Trappiste, Brugge. Pours slightly hazy golden with airy but stable white head. Clear aroma of hops and flowers, with fruity notes and estery touches. Sweetish flavour of fruit and malt, giving way to bitter, hoppy notes and touches of yeast. Bitter, slightly metallic aftertaste. Okay but it smells better than it tastes.

Bottle. Pours Golden with a White head. Aroma of Belgian yeast. Banana and clove. Nice malty body with a nice finish but the aftertaste is a bit tangy.
