3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
33 cL bottle. Pours golden orange with a lots of yeast sediments floating around. Initial huge white head, slowly collapsing into a nice lacework. Aroma is yeasty and fruity, very inviting and fresh. Flavour picks up on the fruity flavours from the yeast and shows a light floral note in addition to this. Sweet caramel malt swept around this together with a mellow yeasty note and a light uplifting flavour from the alcohol. Ends fresh and slowly warming. Nice one.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: APR 15, 2008 330ml bottle purchased in Tournai, Belgium. Wonderful citrus and clove aroma. Cloudy, murky, orange-tan color. Deliciously yeasty and tangy on the tongue. Full of flavor, a real Belgian treat. A lot of people dismiss the Huyghe brewery, but I think the yeast strain they use can deliver an exceptionally smooth and rich taste. World class, a must drink for those into the Delirium line.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottled. I didn’t know this was a Huyge at first. Light colored, fairly hoppy for a tripel. OK but not the best.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle courtesy of Barry (neighbour and friend) Cheers Barry. Had this 23-03-08 Light golden pour with some haze, good carbonation with solid white head. Spicey nose, bit tangy and tart at times. Though pretty clear there was some yeast in suspension. Citrus starts to pulse through with a sweet lemonyness to it.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Egg coloured bottle. At least it won’t be light affected. Pale orange with a nice tight but modest head. Sparking citrus aroma. Tastes very warm and a little cloying. High alcohol content is well disguised.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
2008-03-04. Bright yellow body with a foamy white head. Odd yeasty aroma, strange floral character, hints at sour, mild foot like funk. Flavour is much the same. Floral fruity character with an odd tangyness to it. Sort of like a triple gone askew? Brief pineapple or over ripe tropical fruit (6+) Average palate. Grows less weird as it warms and you wade through the glass but its just ok at its best.
