3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours pale orange, fluffy white head fades to a coat that laces well. Fairly high bead, some suspended bits. Moroccan preserved lemons and bread dough aroma. Fairly sweet and heavy on the palate, with the bubbles doing surprisingly little to lighten it. Alcohol not obvious. Some orangey sourness and bitterness on the finish.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. 11.2 oz. Pours hazy brown with a heavy, tall off-white head. Aroma of bread, spice, pumpkin, hops, barley, and notes of tangy citrus fruits. Mild body but not week. Mouthfeel is smooth and full. Finishes nicely and hides the alcohol perfectly. Good Belgian strong.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Brought a bottle back from our trip to Brussels last spring. Poured well with minimal head. Very carbonated with a sweet smell to it. The taste was somewhat sweet with hints of alcohol. After contact with the air for a bit, it seemed much like a wine, to open up.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Ceramic 330ml bottle into Trappist glass. Nice label! A clear orange-golden beer with large particles floating about and a medium white head providing fair lacing. Aroma is bready malts, faint honey and oranges. Quite light bodied for the ABV with flavours of restrained sweet malts, faint oranges and a mild bittersweet spicy finish. It is certainly not the most flavoursome Belgian strong ale that you could buy but still decent with a smooth drinkability.
