Colour and sight: Golden blond, multigrain beer with a very persistent, lacing head.

Aroma - smells of funky yeast and dry white flesh fruit esters Appearance - gold body; very unfiltered hazy body, tons of nucleation, larger sized chunky unfiltered debris, unsettling to some I’m sure, but it actually offered something in this unique looking brew; head is off-white head with some unfiltered debris mixed in looks like a glacier huge and rocky. Taste - has an charred oak barrel nature, with a white flesh fruit overtone, and some champagne like zip; funky yeast as well as some tang. Palate - body is light; texture is champagne like in nature; carbonation is above average; finish is dry, bubbly, and tangy

Fruity aroma. Slight cloudy golden color. A little more fresh than the usual Belgian. But unfortunately not something that stands over any of the other Belgian beers.

Bottle 33cl. Liquid is golden, clear, rocky head, nice lacing. Aroma of yeast, vinegar, spices, banana. Taste: yeast, spices, lime, malt, dark fruits, orange, alcohol. It’s a little too aggressive but still not bad.

Pours a lovely golden blonde colour with a fluffy white head and an aggressive, large bubbled evervescence. Has a nose of sweet malt with almost no hop character and some alcohol is apparent. Big sugary treacle malt flavour with a candi sugar bite and apparent alcohol warming. Head Laces beautifully and has "legs" too. Dry finish and low levels of esters and other fruity flavours. . Overall a big alcohol beer with a whammy of sugar and eye anole that will surely leave you with a big head in the am if you drink too many!

mile (2988) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 6, 2014
Bottle. Light golden, average and mostly diminishing head. Moderate, malty – lightly wheaty and sweetish aroma, light caramel and fruitiness, light alcohol and yeast. Body is medium, malty – lightly wheaty and lightly sweetish flavor, faint caramel and fruitiness, light alcohol. Finish is short to average, malty – lightly wheaty and lightly sweetish, faint caramel, light hoppyness and some alcohol. Quite one-dimensional strong ale. Way too much alcohol considering the body.

Very tall foamy white head that collapse to a nice thinner layer. Gentle sweet aroma. Nice golden body. Strong 8.5 ABV - but not much alcohol taste. Taste pleasantly sweet with complex flavor profile and a nice week bitter taste following at first sips. Very balanced flavor leaning slightly to the sweet side. Some lemony sourness, a little distracting. A somewhat salty after taste, a bit metallic. Gentle caramel flavor, with a rich complex structure. Hints of woody-herbal flavors. Mouth feel is foamy and carbonation is gentle but fitting the beer. Overall very good beer, with many flavor layers and richness. A beer that can stand on it’s own.
