Bottles: 33cl with crown cap, 75cl with cork and muselet.
Barrels: 15l, 20l and 30l.
Alcohol volume: 8.5% ABV
Colour and sight: Golden blond, multigrain beer with a very persistent, lacing head.
Scent: A complex smell, with a citrus aroma, followed by hop aromas such as Saaz, Brewers Gold and Amarillo.
Flavour: Initially rather sweet, because of the alcohol. The intense taste and roundness mask the presence of high bitterness.

on tap @ Sergioís / Louisville KY --- Clear medium amber, white head cover, full curtain of lace. Aroma of sweet malt and citrus, appealing aroma and appearance. Taste is sweet malt that expands in the palate, adding light sweet citrus and a bit of alcohol warmth on the swallow before nudging toward bitterness in a long satisfying finish. Highly recommended.

Hazy golden colour, big white foamy head. Sweet and grainy malts in the nose and taste along with spicy Belgian yeasts that also add some light sour tones. Reminiscent of Tripel Karmeliet. Good body, medium carbonation.

Draught. Dark golden yellow with medium foamy whitish head, malt-coriander aroma, low carbonation, sharp alcohol taste partially masked by hops flavor, long finish with alcohol aftertaste. Not bad but also not great

330ml bottle poured in its own glass @ "Pinguin zem Bier-Huus": A very nice Beer house in Basel. A: Golden yellow color with a thick, fluffy and persistent head. A little bit cloudy and dirty too S: Belgian yeasts. Fresh malt. Sweet flowery perfume. Citrus and spices (reminds a Triple) T: Belgian yeasts, malt and spices. Moderate sweet M: Balanced sweetness, low bitterness and reasonable carbonation D: High. Despite the high ABV, you cannot feel too much the alcohol. Really easy to lose the head here... Pours a slightly hazy golden color topped with lots of white frothy head. Malty aroma, notes of alcohol and yeasty smell. The taste is malty, yeasty with pretty strong alcohol taste. Very dry. Not my favourite really.

Pours a clear pale gold with two fat fingers of white head, great retention, moderate lacing. Nose is doughy, bread yeast and malt with overripe apples and dark fruit. Taste is initially moderate sweet followed by moderate to strong bitter, sour fruit, building spice. Medium body, moderate to high sustained carbonation, with a dry, strongly bitter finish. Iím not entirely sure what to make of this. The nose is, frankly, bizarre. Iíve never smelled a beer like this and Iím not sure I like it very much. Itís almost like an apple turnover thatís spent too long in the sun. Maybe itís the Brewerís Gold hops? The flavour is pretty much more of the same. I donít think I like this very much. Wonder if I got a bad bottle...
