3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy golden. Warming, sweetish aroma from exotic fruits and spices. Flavour is more toned down, with a sweetish malt presence and not much else. Still an elegant brew.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: MAY 31, 2007 A sweet, alcoholic triple-fermented Belgian ale. It poured a surprisingly pale lager-gold with a loose, lavish head and a suspension of sediment. The nose is sugary-sweet and heavy with fruit and peppery alcohol. There are notes of bubblegum and sour apples. Overall, the nose is piercing, thin and phenolic. In the mouth, it begins sweet and warm with some lemony notes in the middle and a dry Juicy Fruit finish. It’s smooth and rich, with a big peppery kick in the swallow. Tart finish. Despite, the triple fermentation there are still too many residual sugars for my taste. Palate is quite thin for this abv. Drinkable but by no means the best in its style. (Bottle)

3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottled. Cloudy golden colour, small head. Weak, slightly fruity and slightly spicy aroma. A bit flat and boring in taste, with the alcohol not hidden well, and some notes of spiciness and yeastiness. Round mouthfeel. Okay, but I wouldn´t buy it again.

Great beer, was a lot lighter than i expected, was expected something like the delerium nocturnum but was pleasantly surprised by something close to the tremens. Fairly fruity, and dry, something I could drink all day!!

Amber-rouge. Adherent and long-lasting foam. Aroma of fruit sand bank. In mouth he turns out warm, wrapping, persistent.

Light golden unclear color, a bit darker would be nice. Boring head the dies fast.Fruity and big flavor, but i’m really not into the "high-power" +9% belgian beers

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sampled at Hall’s Beer Tavern in Paris, France.
Damaged Pear Skin.
Odd nose. It’s sticky, very fruity and sharp as hell. Red apple skins, pears and caramel seep through.
Medium bodied. Fruit laden palate. Smooth. Huge caramel in the backround with notes of peach, pears and apples.
This beer makes me think that Huyghe can actually brew but oddly enough, it is very similar to the Tremens....
