COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottles: 33cl with crown cap, 75cl with cork and muselet.
Barrels: 15l, 20l and 30l.
Alcohol volume: 8.5% ABV
Colour and sight: Golden blond, multigrain beer with a very persistent, lacing head.
Scent: A complex smell, with a citrus aroma, followed by hop aromas such as Saaz, Brewers Gold and Amarillo.
Flavour: Initially rather sweet, because of the alcohol. The intense taste and roundness mask the presence of high bitterness.

Aroma gave me some pears/apples and a bit of citrus as well as noticeable alcohol. The head on mine quickly disappeared and yeah was kinda yellow coloured. Had a few fruit and malt flavours mixed in but they seemed to be taken over by a bit of salt or metal that soured it down a bit.

Aroma is pears and yeast, hazy golden amber, with a small firm white head, and constant bubbles! Some pleasant lace. Strong inoffensive alcohol taste, with some caraway rye highlights, and light fruit. Pleasant mouthfeel, medium bodied, tongue tingle as expected with the style. Good.

Poured with a white head that stays, leaving no lace. Low carbonation. Light golden color. Nose is alcohol and apple. Starts with an alcohol flavor, and finishes the same but smooth. Some sweet overtones but the alcohol overwhelms the malts and hops. The 330ml bottle was found in York, England for £2.25.

Really impressed with this strong ale. Nice name for a beer ;-). Has quite a heavy body, alcohol is noticed. Really good.

Hazy yellow, with big white head. Some sour tang as well as fruit as sweet malt in aroma. Big fruity taste, slightly sweet/sour.

hazy yellow, white head, big floaters in the beer. powdery sweet candy-ish nose. starts fruity with some honey-ish notes, goes to alcohol and ends mildly earthy. gets much sweeter as it warms. not bad, but not all that impressive.

If I could rate this negative I would. Huyghe is the worst brewery in the universe and this pile of dog feces is no exception. Cloying filthy rotten apples and some sort of pixie vomit that causes you to die slowly roasting in the pits of haties. Worst beer ever, and I've had very very warm "Cyclone Power" malt liquor

Large white head. Clear golden. Medium body. Aroma is yeasty, flowery, alcoholic. Medium body. Salty. Dry.

Slightly hazy blond. Almost no existent head. Nose full of malt, yeast and alcohol notes. Tongue takes those and adds citrus and floral notes to it. Warming, smooth finish. Good beer.

Very keen to escape the bottle. A very fruity estery beer, with a slightly acidic start and a better finish when it settles. Quite apple/ banana in its profile. Alcoholic mouthfeel.
