Colour and sight: Golden blond, multigrain beer with a very persistent, lacing head.

Jellegzetes komlós ízvilág, a lágerekre hasonlít. Testes sör, érezni hogy erős.

Brouwerij Huyghe La Guillotine has strong malty notes but lacks complexity. Pour is a medium amber color but had a scant head. Just a bit of malt in the aroma. Taste is sweet with a syrupy body to match -- not much else going on here. La Guillotine is ok for last beer before the knife.

From cervezasespeciales. In Teku glass. Playing Tomb Raider 2015. Strongly herbal-soapy, making it hard to drink

Bottle of 33cl, in a Trappist glass; from the fridge. Hum, long time no see Huyghe... but your beers are always so dissapointing. We’re in front of a brown-red colour, with a sweet aroma. The head seems fuzzy, as the taste is. No real palate...

I do not wax on poetically about beer but I do know the quality of a beer once tasted. This review is not about my tastes but reinforces the numbers, which are arbitrary.

330ml bottle from Beervana. Pours a slightly cloudy golden color with a very big white frothy head that lasts for long and leaves a cute film. Aroma is fruity and spicy with the classic Huyghe profile. White wine, pears, white grapes, melon, prickly pear, apple and some flowers. Clear peppery and other spicy hints. Some phenolic hints. Taste is mostly sweet with a slightly bitter alcoholic-herbal touch. Fruity notes of apples and pears dominate with lots of alcohol punch complimenting and, sometimes, overpowering it. Not bad, but the alcohol is too present. Medium body, high carbonation, a bit spritzy. Finish is sticky. It leaves a long aftertaste. Not the best by Huyghe but a mildly interesting experiment.
