Bottle. Cloudy with lots of residue. Very interesting aroma of citrus, with hints of apple. Taste of citrus and hops, quite complex yet light. No sign of alcohol. Very nice beer, I was pleasantly surprised.

Bottle thanks to Alemax. Pours a slightly hazy dark copper with coarse, bright white head. Settles in minutes with some thick clumps of lacing. Aroma is very fruity and floral, strong apple, pear, smells quite sweet, very mild alcohol. Flavor is fruity, apple, sweet, with a sweet malty, juicy finish. Seemed surprisingly bitter the first few sips, fortunately it faded as the beer warmed and my palate became saturated. Alcohol is relatively well masked. Lively carbonation (at least initially), medium body, crisp texture and moderately dry finish. A tasty belgian ale, though I don’t feel it is quite as refined as the delerium beers.

Some bar: Pours hazy yellow gold with a white head. Aroma is yeast, fruitiness, and light hops. Taste is kind of on the sweet side with a hoppy undertone. Not too bitter. Mild aftertaste. Really fizzy and carbonated mouth feel. Pleasant enough to drink.

On tap at Black Bottle Brewery. Gold and clear with an off-white head and lacing. The aroma is bitter hops, light sweet malts and light fruit. Similar flavor with a medium body and a dry smooth feel. The finish was bittersweet. The alcohol is mostly hidden. It was OK.

Blonde légèrement cuivrée, belle mousse crémeuse. Bien houblonnée, légèrement florale et épicée. Petit goût de caramel avec retour fruité.

McTapps (1463) - Ruhrgebiet, GERMANY - MAY 8, 2013
Happy 1400th rating ;) This beer comes in a very cool stoney bottle, what is quite unusual in German standards. Deep amber colour with low creamy head and smooth body. Nose of hops. Taste of ripe hops, white peppers, light coriander, light Belgian yeast and straw. Very easy and nice to drink with light hoppy touches. Enjoyed it a lot.

Bottle shared with McTapps. I got what I expected. Lot of that sweetish hops in the start mixed with some vanilla notes and bigger carbo. Was quite wasy to drink but combined with that ABV it scored at once. Nice one for sure but a Duvel scores better without being that special.

Pours a light clean straw yellow with two fingers of sticky white head. Nose is estery with soft white fruit being dominant. Notes of bread dough and spicy yeast creep in. Very similar to a Delirium but perhaps a bit more peppery/spicy. Light medium body with a fruity finish.

Pours deep gold into a tulip. Bright white micro head with excellent retention tophats as it slowly recedes. Sweet and sour summer fruit aromas. Crisp with sour berries upfront turning to bread and grass in the middle before the dry lasting sourdough finish.
