3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
33 cL bottle. Pours golden orange with a lots of yeast sediments floating around. Initial huge white head, slowly collapsing into a nice lacework. Aroma is yeasty and fruity, very inviting and fresh. Flavour picks up on the fruity flavours from the yeast and shows a light floral note in addition to this. Sweet caramel malt swept around this together with a mellow yeasty note and a light uplifting flavour from the alcohol. Ends fresh and slowly warming. Nice one.

A slightly hazy dark orange beer with a huge off-white head. The aroma is very sweet and very fruity, combined with notes of yeast - of the fruits oranges comes thru. The flavor is also very sweet and very fruity with oranges and peaches coming thru, then notes of yeast and hints of alcohol comes along, before it in the end turns spicy with some coriander and cloves.

(Bottle 33 cl) My version at 9,3% ABV. Jesus, this almost exploded out of the bottle as soon as the cap was removed. Lots of pressure, lots of carbonation - the yeast must have worked overtime in here. Golden with some haze. Some malty notes and a hint of some bitter hops. Slight spice but first and foremost this is very strong with a very pronounced alcohol. 070397

Bottled. Hazy orange colour with sediments floating around. Big white creamy head. Fruity and wheaty aroma. Fruity wheaty and a bit alcohol in flavour. Some soapy hints also noteable occasionally. Hides ABV well, though you note there is some.

Bottle, thx to fonefan. Except for some microfloaties, it pours a clear golden body, and it’s topped by a awhite head. Rather sweetish nose, with some caramel and alcohol. Sweet and fruity flavor with malt and a decent bitterness towards the finish. Slightly warming in the mouth, effervescent and full-bodied. Fruity finish with alcohol, caramel and a nice bitterness. A rather ordinary, or in the upper half of the scale, beer. Quite pleasant though. (080412)

Bottle courtesy of Herman and SeaBass, on a very late evening in Gent, after "lights out." Blond, good body, not too bitter, not overly strong. Thank you, gentlemen!
