Colour and sight: Golden blond, multigrain beer with a very persistent, lacing head.
Scent: A complex smell, with a citrus aroma, followed by hop aromas such as Saaz, Brewers Gold and Amarillo.
Flavour: Initially rather sweet, because of the alcohol. The intense taste and roundness mask the presence of high bitterness.

This is an excellent beer, one of the best triples I ever had, maybe the finest!

I thought this was a very tasty beer. The first impression from the aroma alone initially made me somewhat excited to taste it, and the flavour did not disappoint.

Cloudy gold with a foamy head. Aroma resembles that of Duvel. taste is sour with sweet undertones. Finish is a little bitter, which makes is very refreshing.

[330ml bottle, Delirium Café, Brussels] Dark golden amber colour out of the bottle. Quite hazy. Gives off deep alcohol aromas with some fruit. The taste is wonderful, like a darker, punchier Delirium Tremens – hops, grass, flowers, fruit, then that alcohol on the finish. Very moorish, but at that strength it could be highly dangerous as it doesn’t really taste 8.5% at all [10032010]

Rerate Still a good triple, but the appearance isn’t that good. Still, it’s perfectly capable of masking it’s ABV, which is IMO very good. Spicy taste, delicious! Original rate This is one of the best tripels i’ve ever had. Perfect head, smooth spicy taste. A pleasure to the tongue in my opinion!

Had this in the bottle and I was dead impressed. Better than the other Deliriums as far as I’m concerned, which cost far too much in England. Very quaffable for an 8.5%.

Golden colour, very allive carbonation, medium to large white head, sweet sour melon like smell, warm sweet fruity melon, high carbonation, hints of the alcohol percentage but not unpleasant,

330 ml bottle. The sampled bottle might have been a bit rustled, so more yeast than normal was in the sample. Aroma thick with belgoyeast and banana. Tastes sweet, fizzy, banana. Balanced, hides the alcohol well.

Poured a clearish orange although there are definitely some murky yeast or carbonation bubbles kicking around and the head and lace retention are great. Citric and some sweet fruit and definite yeast and spicy nose as it is a particularly strong beer. Crisp, light bodied, passes easy, great balance between a crisp edge thanks to spice and carbonation and a smoothness from yeast as well as some sweet fruit flavors like mango or pineapple as well as crisp citric orange. Alcohol started to warm the finish and hit me as I drank but overall this is a really enjoyable ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
