Barrels: 15l, 20l and 30l.
Alcohol volume: 8.5% ABV
Colour and sight: Golden blond, multigrain beer with a very persistent, lacing head.
Scent: A complex smell, with a citrus aroma, followed by hop aromas such as Saaz, Brewers Gold and Amarillo.
Flavour: Initially rather sweet, because of the alcohol. The intense taste and roundness mask the presence of high bitterness.

Bottle from De Bierkonig in Amsterdam. Pours a slightly murky yet effervescent dark golden, humongous frothy head. Yeast sediment floaties can be seen. Aroma is nice and reminiscent of a solid Belgian golden a la Duvel. Tart, yeast, spice, orange marmalade, hint of champagne. Very nice Well balanced and subtle. Soft and fizzy on the palate. Taste is on-point and full of more yeasty spice, fruits, and a slight hop bitterness. Sticky bittersweet finish with a hint of alcohol burn. Better than expected based on price and other reviews. A nice cross between a Belgian golden and a tripel.

A ’golden blond’ triple with a firm white head. The yeast is all over the glass due to the carbonation and doesn’t come to rest. The aroma brings mainly alcohol and citrus from the hop. Pretty sweet but surprisingly smooth mouth feel. Some banana. The sweetness sticks in the finish. A very well done triple.

Rating #804 - January 13, 2014 - Post work 33cl beer bottle from Coop - Trying to get through this review without a Robespierre joke. Clear golden pour with a bubbly white head that fades to a ring. Aroma is booze, grassy hops, and yeast. Palate is initially sweet and boozy, prolonged sourness, and lots of cool sweet citrus, grassy bitterness. Quite nice for a sourish tripel. Pity is treason. Damnit.

Strong golden color and slightly opaque. A Cream advanced training, dense and persistent. Excellent lacing. The cream on top brings a peculiarity of microbubbles present at its base and greater near the top. The aroma is very slightly sweetened by vanilla, banana or perhaps, with citrus notes, for strawberries, green apples, cloves, and hops are present discreetly. Alcohol can be noted in the aroma, but nothing that is compromising. As a powerful Belgian Strong Ale does not show an amount of drink but of appreciation. Its flavor is fruity initially being soon caught by the power of alcohol that is neat by strong bitterness. Well spiced by coriander, nutmeg and perhaps peppers notes. The hops are applied subtly noticed. The bitterness comes to exceed a little and perhaps influence of excessive carbonation, but despite this detail is very well built and balanced. Medium body and slightly oily texture. At the end there is a very slight incursion of acidity, without harming anything in the feature of this beer inside your style.
