COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottles: 33cl with crown cap, 75cl with cork and muselet.
Barrels: 15l, 20l and 30l.
Alcohol volume: 8.5% ABV
Colour and sight: Golden blond, multigrain beer with a very persistent, lacing head.
Scent: A complex smell, with a citrus aroma, followed by hop aromas such as Saaz, Brewers Gold and Amarillo.
Flavour: Initially rather sweet, because of the alcohol. The intense taste and roundness mask the presence of high bitterness.

tasted a bit like toilet cleaner (not that i’ve ver sat down and drank a bottle of toilet cleaner), but i would imagine it would taste like this, besides this taste it was ok, overall this beer wasn’t the worst i’ve had, maybe i just had a bad bottle? who knows.

Sweet flowery hop and citrus aroma. hazy golden, soapy head, which dissipates fast. Citrus flavors and much of the usual belgian background radiation. Maybe I am just not in the mood, but the beer seems to have a bit too much of the strong flavoring - balance is off. Fine fizzy carbonation in the mouth, lowers the fullness.

Retaining creamy head. Nuttiness, fruit, and spices (clove, pepper) and hops, in a creamy yeast but not all that works. Wild. Medicinal alcohol kick, so not wild enough. Carbonation tickle tongue. Slightly above average beer but below average Belgian.

Slightly hazy golden yellow body with a good size white head. Aroma is spicey and tropical fruit, yeast and lemon. Taste was of grapefruit with hints of cloves. Alcohol was well hidden, medium body and soft carbonation.

Golden, somewhat hazy. Nice offwhite head. Yeast, quite flat aroma. Malty and yeasty flavor with some marcipan.

Bottled. Cloudy golden colour, small head. Weak, slightly fruity and slightly spicy aroma. A bit flat and boring in taste, with the alcohol not hidden well, and some notes of spiciness and yeastiness. Round mouthfeel. Okay, but I wouldn´t buy it again.

La guillotine is a very tasty beer with much alcohol what you don’t taste.

Bottle. Vinous aroma, like white wine and funky yeast. Golden colour. NO head, looks like apple juice. Peppery flavour, a little spicy. Dry finish.

alcohol, banana, apple, citrus notes, and sugar; doughy, lively, a bit dusty; not bad.

A fraction light coloured for the style; classic amber / orange. Subdued nose, perhaps elegant, lighter than expected. A bit strange tasting early with quite a pronounced citrus trait when the beer was cold (not unpleasant) but disappeared as the beer warmed up. Bigger malts appear with spice and some heat, although you’d never pick it as a 9%. Solid enough but not mind blowing.
