Colour and sight: Golden blond, multigrain beer with a very persistent, lacing head.

Pours a light clean straw yellow with two fingers of sticky white head. Nose is estery with soft white fruit being dominant. Notes of bread dough and spicy yeast creep in. Very similar to a Delirium but perhaps a bit more peppery/spicy. Light medium body with a fruity finish.

Bottle at home. Pours golden color, white head. Aroma of citrus, yeasty, malty, grapefruit. Taste is sour, yeasty, malty, spicy, typical belgian stuff.

330ml bottle poured in its own glass @ "Pinguin zem Bier-Huus": A very nice Beer house in Basel. A: Golden yellow color with a thick, fluffy and persistent head. A little bit cloudy and dirty too S: Belgian yeasts. Fresh malt. Sweet flowery perfume. Citrus and spices (reminds a Triple) T: Belgian yeasts, malt and spices. Moderate sweet M: Balanced sweetness, low bitterness and reasonable carbonation D: High. Despite the high ABV, you cannot feel too much the alcohol. Really easy to lose the head here... Pours a slightly hazy golden color topped with lots of white frothy head. Malty aroma, notes of alcohol and yeasty smell. The taste is malty, yeasty with pretty strong alcohol taste. Very dry. Not my favourite really.

Pours a clear pale gold with two fat fingers of white head, great retention, moderate lacing. Nose is doughy, bread yeast and malt with overripe apples and dark fruit. Taste is initially moderate sweet followed by moderate to strong bitter, sour fruit, building spice. Medium body, moderate to high sustained carbonation, with a dry, strongly bitter finish. I’m not entirely sure what to make of this. The nose is, frankly, bizarre. I’ve never smelled a beer like this and I’m not sure I like it very much. It’s almost like an apple turnover that’s spent too long in the sun. Maybe it’s the Brewer’s Gold hops? The flavour is pretty much more of the same. I don’t think I like this very much. Wonder if I got a bad bottle...

Pour from tap, light caramel appearance with light head. Slight sweetness followed by hefty bitterness. The bitterness wears off after a few sips. I highly recommend a pour in the themed glass with dripping blood. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Way too overcarbonated. Light malty background dominated by quite pleasant fruitiness, berries, citrusy hops, light yeasty. Mostly sweet with decent bitterness in finish. Bit harsh alco kick. Drinkable, but that high carbonation ruins beer for me

Poured a light cloudy amber colour with a thick head that had plenty of retention. Body was full of yeast sediment. Had a very fruity aroma that was mirrored in its taste with malt flavors and good carbonation. Has a bit of bite on the Finish like a sharp Champaign. Not too bad. Sediment creeps me out though.

Bottle from E.Leclerc, Riberac. Poured a hazy golden colour, with a dense white head. Aroma of malty, Belgian yeast, honey and soft fruit. Bitter hop flavours, with some flowery notes and hay. Finish was dry grain, grass and chalkiness.
