COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A blond-coloured beer containing brewer's yeast, La Jamboise is very pleasant to drink and quite cool to the palate. Connoisseurs, on savouring it, will recognise a touch of the piquant taste so characteristic of mustard seeds.

Mustard beer for mustard maker Bister, with stable, sticky, off-white head and cloudy ochre blonde colour. Aroma of lemon peel, dry sherry, hay, peach, honey; taste begins with citrussy freshness and dried fruits, bready, bit sourish, yeasty, light bitter hop finish with a subtle, spicy mustard accent.

Golden pour. Small white head. Little lacing. Not much of an aroma. A little floral note but that is it. Malty taste, though watered down. A slight presence of mustard. Slight. Not as bad as anticipated.

Hazy yellow coloured, quiet a lot of carbonation and an average white head. Sweet malty aroma, some light herbal yeasty touches. Very nice, full body, smouth with a little sprankling. Finish is light bitter with an unique somewhat tinteling mouthfeel, caused by the spicy undertone (I guess the mustard seeds).Long aftertaste, at the end more piquant. Very nice, I love this one.

(Bottle 33 cl) My version was from now defunct "Les artisans Brasseurs" in Namur - 6% ABV. Golden beer with collossal amounts of floaties, gee this is really lumpy yeast. Stable, dense and oily head - from the mustard seeds? No, this doesn’t taste like Heiz Classic Mustard, but it’s oddly spiced in a way I haven’t really tried before. Decent blond ale, although a bit flat in carbonation with a slight, bitter finish. 150799

(bottle) Hazy and pale orange colour with a big foamy lasting white head. Floral hoppy aroma with citric, yeasty and spicy elements. Medium sweet flavour and carbonation. Initially malty sweet taste with a musty spiced and smooth bitterhoppy finish. A great experience, especially the mustard blended finish.

(Bottled) Very hazy orange-yellow color with a medium, tight, lacy and creamy head. Very fruity, yeasty aroma with lemon and hay, and a hint of alcohol. Very, very fruity, slightly sweet flavor with banana and yeast. Medium-bodied, slicky palate with foamy but smooth carbonation. A very pleasant and well-balanced, quite straightforward blonde. Refreshing!

Dark yellow color, very cloudy appearance. Nice yellow head. Spicy, fruity, sweet aroma, nice rich Belgian ale aroma. Mild alcohol in aroma too. Strongly sweet and fruity flavor, ends with mildly spicy aftertaste, nice flavor. Medium bodied, some lace in glass. Ending has some yeast in flavor and some dryness in aftertaste too.
