La Jolla Brewhouse Zomer Brune

On tap at Hamiltons. Pours with a dark brown body topped by a thick, off-shite head with a good amount of lacing. It’s slightly sweet and fruity with a strong yeasty note and a subtle sourness. Medium to dull bodied, a touch warming and highly carbonated.

7th sample Stone Anniversary Fest XI. Listed as a Belgian Brown, alc I think was like 7.6. Pours amber brown with a ring of cream head. The nose is crisp malts. Taste is sweet robust and decent. My friends noticed notes in the nose and taste of refriend beans, but I didn’t get that feeling.
