2007 PP SAF. Dark orange. A wierd grainy bong water aroma. Has a lemony bitterness. To me it seems like something is missing here. Kind of funky in the finish.

Clear golden appearance. Well spiced, strong grapefruit aroma. Sweet tropical fruits on the palate with spicy citrus overtones. Sweet fruitiness makes this very drinkable.

Draft at PP Strong Ale Fest ’05. Hazy gold pour. Grassy citrus hop aroma, powerful but no overbearing. Sweet caramel malt flavors with a good amount of grassy woody hops and a touch of citrus lemon.

9th Annual San Diego Strong Ale Fest: Slightly hazed golden color. Nice hop aroma of moderate strength. Floral and cirtus. Citrus flavor with some lemon and caramel. The malt helps balance the acidity. Light to medium bodied. Moderately hoppy in the flavor with the acidity going for a long finish.
