Bouteille 341ml. De couleur brune foncée et claire. Nez de grains de malt légèrement rôtis et aux faibles notes fumées, léger de miel et de caramel doux avec des traces de biscuits. Moyenne-mince en bouche avec un pétillement moyen ainsi qu’une texture aux notes crémeuses. Faibles notes de grains de malt fumés (fumée de bois) lors de l’entrée en bouche rapidement suivi d’un goût de caramel doux sucré et de grains de malt moyennement rôtis ainsi que quelques notes de biscuits puis en finale l’on retrouve légère douceur sucrée de miel avec une très légère amertume de houblon herbeux avec des traces de noix et d’alcool. Post-goût moyen, très légèrement amer de rôti avec des traces de houblon et d’alcool.

Bottle 341 ml. Pours dark brown with a little, quickly diminishing white head. Strong aroma of honey, along with some torrefied malt. Taste is not well baanced, too sweet. Medium bodied, some warming alcohol. Bouteille 341 ml. Robe brun foncé avec un petit collet blanc non persistant. Forte arôme de miel accompagné d’un peu de malt torréfié. Goût mal balancé, trop sucré. Assez ronde en bouche.

Originally rated July 2006. Bought at La Trappe À Fromage in Gatineau, Quebec. Pours a deep cola brown with red highlights. The tanned creamy head does not stay all that long, but leaves a bit of lace. The nose is very sour at first, and then after breathing a bit, roasted malts, coffee and yeast come out of it. Still, not the best of smell. Slight tart in the mouthfeel. Weird outdated taste at first too, but then, some decent flavours show up. Roasted malt, coffee, molasse, light smokiness, mild nut but not much sign of honey. Not a really bad brew, but this stale feel that Lièvre beers have overall, do not please me very much.

341ml bottle, out of Pint glass. pours a nice dark brown with a thick and everlasting cream coloured head. the aroma is malts and metal. pretty horrid. the taste is even worse. sweet, acidic in a bad way, metallic, and a really bad aftertaste. palate isn’t so bad. it’s a medium bodied beer with a good amount of carbonation for its style. the aroma, and more importantly, the taste are really bad. i give up on this brewery. i’ve yet to even have a semi-decent beer from them.

Une brune assez désaltérante, un petit goût fumé que j’aime bien, mais l’arôme est un peut trop neutre...

Si vous avez le goût de prendre quelque bière foncées et sucré, c’est votre bière. Elle a un bon petit goût en bouche, mais qui pourrait finir par tomber sur le coeur.

Bière intéressante, qui fait une belle mousse. Peu d’arôme mais un goût agréable, où le miel n’est pas trop présent. L’effervescence s’estompe vite.

Nice dark amber body and decent head. Vague malt hints on the nose, and little else. Taste is a morass of barley and sweetness. Totally unbalanced and just off, I can’t taste anything but sugar and barley!

The BEST BEER for tis Brewery !!!! nice Color , good tast ,not to weerd for this Brewery . good aroma and you don’t tast they alcool . better in draft maby cause i add trouble finding it . Its Ok go for it !!!
