Bottle from Swoopjones - thanks! Orangey body, thin white head. Nose is honey, spices, some vegetal matter, brown sugar. Flavor is honey malt, soda water, light cocoa.

Carrots are definitely a new adjunct for me, and this beer illustrates that they do little in the way of flavoring. Golden brown with a frothy white head. Cooked vegetable aroma with notes of cinnamon and honey. Flavor is pretty bland, just a light honey sweetness coming through. Overly carbonated... but an interesting experience nonetheless. Thanks to swoopjones.

Bottle sample at Rudy’s Lambic tasting 2009. Pours a medium golden orange. Looked better than I expected. Vegetal aroma with like a honey mead like smell. Taste was spritzy, bordering on over carbonation. Carrots? Pretty harsh. Glad I tried but no need for more

Bottle. Slightly hazy yellow with a thick frothy white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma is a wierd mix of vegetables, caramel, and metal. Flavor is vegetable broth and malt, not much hops. Only positive things here are appearance and palate...

355 ml bottle from Trappe a Fromage, served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass. MR 28/09.

App.: Clear golden with a decent white meringue. Aroma: Slightly peppery, vegetal and corn, lightly sweet and somewhat fruity, carrots??, slightly spicy. Palate: Medium body and carbonation. Flav.: Much like the body, slightly spicy/peppery, grainy malt, lightly fruity and slightly vegetal; light finish, not bitter, slightly grainy.

What’s up, Doc? Not much, rabbit, not much at all.

Head does stay long. Carott taste seems natural... just weird.
