1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 3/20 LBarouf (107) - Aylmer, Quebec, - NOV 17, 2012330ml bottle,
light orange body with a small white head, tiny yeast floaties. aroma is interesting in that it’s pretty much all carrot juice and vegetables. flavour is pretty much the same and not much can said about it. It’s an interesting beer but not particularly good. A vegetable...I’m not surprised by the result, but who in hell though of using a vegetable for a beer.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 lesifflebiere (430) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - APR 11, 2013

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Metalchopz (1742) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 22, 2012
Originally rated June 2005. Holy smokes... a vegetable beer ! I like fruit beers, I like spiced beers.... but a vegetable beer ?? Pours a slight cloudy golden-amber colour with a decent foam head. Not much lace. At first, the scent of malt and yeast comes up. After breathing, a mild wax-carrot smells is there, with hints of sweet malt. The mouthfeel and taste is definitly very waxy mixed in with unsweetened coconut. Kind of weird. Very not use to this. I think I will stick to V8 Splash juices.

341ml bottle. pours a light orange with a fizzy white head that instantly goes away. aroma is weak, some vegetable matter and earth. taste is bready, and odd. boiled vegetables. mouthfeel is light, very carbonated. a pretty boring beer.
1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20 piscator34 (1798) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - JAN 16, 2010
Bottled sample, tasted with Savvy1982 and rudge75. Pale orange in colour with strong carbonation. Lots of earthy spices on the nose, with suggestions of sweet root vegetable (not specifically carrot), and Belgian yeast. Quite thin in the mouth, with flavors of mint, stale malts, mild dehydrated carrot, and sharp yeast derived spice notes. Strange in a bad fermented too hot and possibly contaminated homebrew sort of way.

Bottle, courtesy of Dave at Half Pints, thanks I guess... Pours cloudy orange, nose is carrot core, spice, soggy grain, yeast. Flavors of mild carrot, spice, simple, vaguely unpleasant. Apparently done just to be different, congrats for that I suppose...
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 rudolf (2276) - Buffalo, New York, USA - JUL 5, 2009
Bottle from Swoopjones - thanks! Orangey body, thin white head. Nose is honey, spices, some vegetal matter, brown sugar. Flavor is honey malt, soda water, light cocoa.
2.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 frylock (1127) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - JUN 23, 2009
Carrots are definitely a new adjunct for me, and this beer illustrates that they do little in the way of flavoring. Golden brown with a frothy white head. Cooked vegetable aroma with notes of cinnamon and honey. Flavor is pretty bland, just a light honey sweetness coming through. Overly carbonated... but an interesting experience nonetheless. Thanks to swoopjones.
