In short: Typical brewpub witbier
How: Tap at brewpub
The look: Almost clear blonde body with almost no head
In long: Coriander, lime, light touch of honeyed malts and timid hops. Typical kind-of-witbier similar to that of countless North American brewpubs. Lacks the yeast presence of the true Belgian Witbiers. It’s refreshing and that’s its only goal. Nothing much to talk about here except for its lifespan. At first the body was totally acceptable and within 10 minutes the pint was totally flat and lifeless. That thing died more quickly than a skinny white dude wearing an “I love Salman Rushdie” while waving an American flag downtown Tehran.

My Bottom Line:
Coriander seeds and orange blossom aplenty scent this fizzy and drinkable interpretation of the Belgian Witbier style. Ending on a dry and herbal finish, its suave cereals build a suitable vessel on which the spices may flourish.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam dissipates into the hazy pale blond.
-Spices aren’t overwhelming, but dominate the flavor profile nonetheless.
-Carbonation evaporated really quickly in this one, leaving us with a glass of flat witbier after 20 minutes or so.
-This one was one of the few hits during my last visit at this brewpub where misses seem to be frequent.

On tap at the brewpub.
