3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottled. Hazy yellowish golden colour, not much head, but small white stuff exists. Aroma is apples, mild riped notes as well as some quite dryish wooden notes. Flavour is apples, quite mildly, with some mild wooden, vanillaish, alcoholic and earthy notes. Quite tonguetickling palate.

Pours orange and still. Smells of crisp apples, some sweetness, some boozy hints. Tastes dry and slightly tarte with some crisp sweetness on the finish.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
From polypin at La Mare Vineyard, Jersey. Clear orange with no head. Sharp fruity, peely apple flavours, a little acidic, tart. Refined heavy cider, no farmy nose nor cloudiness in this sample. Fresh and citric. Enjoyable.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Cloudy orange in colour. Aromas are apple juice with some sourness and mustiness - smells fairly traditional. Flavours are sweet and tart apple juice with some dryness. Not as farmhouse in flavour as the aroma but still reasonable. The alcohol isnít really evident until the end of the bottle.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. 2000 vintage. Yes, definitely on the fresh and clean side. It had been a long evenin, and this was among the last beverages, but it seemed to still stick out a little bit, some light tart acidity, and a touch of sweet apple. Not the best cider, but quite drinkable/pleasant.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
2000 Vintage. Fresh and fruity aroma. Quite sharp and clean, but not packed with character. I suspect it may have been past its prime - the website says it will keep for 2 years. Bottle, from Hop Pocket Wine Company, February 2005.
