3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
bottle - Pours slightly hazy light amber with a two finger off white, lasting head that laces well. The aroma is a nice blend of fruit and malt. It tastes of sweet caramel malt with a light kiss of dark fruit. Pretty good.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle @ einde der beschaving gent. Bottle has another label than the one pictured here but it must be the same beer. I probably had a more recent version of it. Pours golden with a white head. Malty aroma’s. Honey, syrupy but balanced with a decent hopbitterness and even a tad sour. Rather complex for this ABV.

Pours little hazy and amber colour. It has a yellowish head. Aroma is sweet malty and little sour, rubberish. Palate is little dry.
Flavor is sweet and in the same way little sourish. The malt has some caramel.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Pours dark brown with a fizzy tan head. Aroma of faint malt, chocolate, and raisin. Flavor is slightly bitter overall, with chocolate malt, some brown sugar, and a slightly mineral accent. Finishes with a touch of nuttiness (walnut, almond). Medieval just doesn’t seem well-blended to me, complicated further by the fact that the body of this beer is too light, with an empty, sharp carbonation. Drinkable – primarily due to the thinness in palate – but certainly not worth seeking out again.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottled. Clear amber, small head. Aroma of lingonberry and toffee. Sweet and fairly light bodied with clean mouthfeel. Brief caramel turns to mineral bitterness. Some interesting flavour, but a bit sharp.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle: Bubbled as I broke the caps seal, poured a carbonated brown amber with off white head. Aroma was a bit sour with fruit and spice. Taste is a sweet malts with a hint of grain, very soothing.
