Tap, Moeder Lambic. Pours a clear light amber body with a large frothy off-white head. The nose is delicate toasted malts with a touch of light hops, nice fruity yeast giving off some dark fruits. There’s a slight soapy note that I’m getting though that takes away a bit. The flavor is perfumy and delicate with a nice floral bitterness and some toasted malt. Very well attenuated and dry. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with moderate fizzy carbonation. Drinks pretty light for the fairly high ABV level. Some light lingering floral hop notes. Pretty nice beer, kind of nondescript in the style realm, but an enjoyable drink.

Bottle from Moeder Lambic, Fontainas
Beautiful amber color; medium sized creamy head. Caramel aroma with some malt and vegetables. Lean body, with caramel flavor, on the dry side in the beginning, sweetness appears later; there is a light touch of vegetables, unwanted; salty. Correct bitterness; some alcohol warmth in the final. Rather boring.

Draft @ Moeder Lambic Fontainas.

Clear amber color, big cloudy off-white head. Aroma has citrus, perfume, caramel and alcohol. Quite light body for this ABV. Pale malty alcoholic with hoppyness. Also kind of sour. Lingering tart hoppyness. A bit empty and uninspiring.
