3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 janubio (279) - SPAIN - MAR 21, 2007
Nice golden-orange colour, creamy head with lots of bubbles, but it doesn’t last long. Aroma of oranges and peaches, vanilla, some clove and I think some licorice too, but not really a very strong one. The taste, I think it lacks of something, though it has a nice flavour, kind of a semi dry white wine with special accent on banana. Spicy finish. Not a bad beer, but it needs some more to be a very good one, even if you feel its warmness after a few sips.

Draught @ Den Tatoverede Enke, København. Golden coloured. Unclear. Dense white head. Spice, fruits and light yeast notes. A bit bland, but still pleasant. Flavour as well i full of spices and yeast. Fruity notes. Quite balanced and complex, but still a bit too bland for my likings. Medium bodied. Has a sweet and yeast end.

Bottle. Clear pale yellow with lots of bubbles. Big white foamy head. Aroma is sweet, has lots of fruit, some tangerine and sweet apples. Much fuller than you’d expect with much less carbonation (surprise given the bubbles and the head). Flavour is quite spicy with apples and some coriander.
