Light misty golden body and white firm head. Sweaty base, orange peel, sugar, banana candy and corn flakes. Big carbonation, light mouth feel although a bit sticky. Yeasty start taste, sweet peach candy like middle and yeast and sticky ending. Like Lemoncello. Not quite my idea of a Christmas beer, but alcohol warmth does a lot. Not refined at all, but I like it. (75cl bottle from Cave Gambrinus)

(Drinking date: 21 January 2014) Clear golden colour with a small layer of thin foam. A lot of carbonation is visible. Not a really special aroma. A bit of metal, a bit of yeast and a bit of grass. Nothing more. The taste is a bit better, but still not special. It is a normal taste for a blonde beer. But it has a quite strange aftertaste, I think it tastes a bit like metal. The beer tastes, like I said, not really special. It has a strange bitterness in it, which I don’t really like. The body is dry and the taste is a bit sour. The beer has a lot of carbonation, which doesn’t feel very pleasant in my mouth. But, the beer, or, the alcohol in the beer leaves a nice warm feeling in my mouth and throath. Overall, I didn’t really enjoy the beer. It is a beer that I won’t drink again, because it has no special aromas and no special taste, and because it doesn’t feel pleasant in my mouth due to the fizzy carbonation. Like I read in an other review of this beer: it is a refreshing beer, but not one that scratches your tasting buds and makes you remember it for longer. I agree with that. The beer is OK, but nothing more than that. That’s why it gets the total score of 2.9

On tap @ B-MAT. Schiuma bianca fine e persistente. Birra giallo dorato cristallina. Aroma fruttato di uva bianca, lievito, un poco vinoso. Non molto intenso ne complesso. Gusto dolce abboccato, piuttosto acida, poco amara anche nel finale. Molto metallica. Anche il gusto é fruttato. Poco corposa, molto carbonata, calda. Non una grande birra.

Bottle 0.33L. Deep golden body with a huge, frothy, white head, mostly lasting with nice lacing; high density of small particles. Moderate malty (grains) and yeasty aroma with light hoppy (orange) character; intense notes of spices (coriander). Moderate sweet and light acidic flavour with light-to-moderate bitterness in the finish. Medium body with oily texture; average carbonation.

Couleur dorée limpide, mousse moyenne d’ assez faible tenue. Carbonnation moyenne. Trouvée à Vanuxeem - Ploegstaert.

Pours hazy golden with bubbly white head that thins with little lacing. Malty nose, reasonable bitterness with initially high carbonation. A little thin on the palate but balanced and leaves a malty aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330 m bottle. Belgian blonde style ale, pours with a huge head, with honey & caramel malt flavours balanced with coriander and spice. Body is medium full with an alcohol finish with light bitter hop. A little unbalanced. Too much on the sweet side for me.
