COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The amber colour is the result of brewing a pure variety of two-row spring malt, the addition of roasted wheat along with a careful selection of spices in its recipe. La Ramée is a non-filtered high fermentation beer, re-fermented in the bottle, exceptionally easily to digest, with a slightly peppery flavour. In order to enjoy the fullness of its flavour, we advise you to savour it at a temperature of between 7° and 10°C.

Prima dunkel rot-braune Farbe. Test vom 17.3.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche

2010 Vintage bottle@home: slightly hazy, dark amber with a red hue, off-white head, smells like malt plus fermenting red grapes & berries, slightly sweet plus grains, tastes like barley more barley & some grains than malt, fermented dark fruits & red grapes, spices, minor booze, candy sugar & light dark pepper, average but not necessarily bad, lots of carbonation, light to medium body

UPDATED: OCT 29, 2011 Bottle from Beers of Europe, thanks Sev! A deep orange colour with a red tinge. Nice thick off-white head. Aroma of candy sugar, caramel and pepper. Flavours of barley, candy sugar and peppery hop linger. Quite heavily carbonated.

Bottle 33cl, a light amber beer with huge head, heavy carbonation. Nose is very lemony, aroma is medium sweet to low, low malty, astringent, bitter, acid with a real citrus presence, dry finish with peppey hops. A very basic triple with a low and uninteresting body, too acid, poor.

Rather poor tripel ale. The flavour of alcohol overpowers any interesting flavours that could hide inside.

Bottle from Delhaize Supermarket in Leuven, 2005. An amber to light brown ale, lighter than a double, though rather dark for a tripel. Only slightly sweet, with dry, earthy flavors, some caramel, fruit, spices. Rather interesting as a tripel, but rather dry and restrained overall.
