COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The amber colour is the result of brewing a pure variety of two-row spring malt, the addition of roasted wheat along with a careful selection of spices in its recipe. La Ramée is a non-filtered high fermentation beer, re-fermented in the bottle, exceptionally easily to digest, with a slightly peppery flavour. In order to enjoy the fullness of its flavour, we advise you to savour it at a temperature of between 7° and 10°C.

UPDATED: JUL 5, 2006 (Bottle 33 cl) Very dark amber close to being brown. Quite stable off-white head. Nice flowery nose. The flowers reappear in the aroma together with some indefinable spices and lots of malt. Sweetish yet rather dry. Only a glimpse of hops. A good and rather new example of a great Belgian beer. 140405

Amber. Unclear, unfiltered with a thick and stable head. Medium bolied. Sweetish yet dry and only discreetly hopped. A beer close to being perfectly balanced. Good but prefered the blond.

An unclear light brown beer with a very fine light brown head. The aroma is chocolate, ice cream, citrus, fruit - very complex - very fine. The flavor is also very complex, containing fruit, citrus, roasted malt and unrecognizable notes - a lot of sweetness but no bitterness. A great beer with all the complexity.

Prima dunkel rot-braune Farbe. Test vom 17.3.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche

Coloração marrom turvo, aroma doce e frutado. Sabor marcante, frutado complexo. Encorpada, mas se sente muito pouco do álcool. Ótima tripel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Head is initially large, frothy, rocky, off-white, fully lasting. Body is hazy medium amber, dense tiny particles, bottle conditioned. Aroma is moderately malty (caramel, cookie), moderately yeasty (cobwebs), lightly hoppy (flowers), with notes of orange, coriander, clove, honey, and peach. Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately bitter, moderately acidic. Finish is moderately bitter, moderately acidic. Medium body, creamy texture, lively carbonation. A little too yeasty (more so as it warms) in both aroma and flavor, but otherwise complex, appetizing, and well-balanced.
