Even today, tradition is respected because it is brewed with the greatest care, using traditional methods, based on a unique recipe from Brabant Hesbaye. The amber colour is the result of brewing a pure variety of two-row spring malt, the addition of roasted wheat along with a careful selection of spices in its recipe. La Ramée is a non-filtered high fermentation beer, re-fermented in the bottle, exceptionally easily to digest, with a slightly peppery flavour.

Used to be 8%. Changed to 7.5% at least 2015, maybe earlier.

Clear pale blond beer, creamy white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots of banana, bit metallic, coriander, malty touch. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet, malty, lots of overripe banana, little metallic, bitter, spicy touch. Aftertaste: banana, sweet, sugary, some marzipan, bit sticky. Very mediocre.

Bottled. Pours hazy golden, with the most heavy carbonation I’ve seen in a beer, it seems a central jet. Head is very thick, white in color. Aroma is intense: yeast, green apple, bread and lemon. Mouth is fizzy, well structured and full-bodied.

bottle 75 cl with cork, bought at carrefour. aroma has bread, hay, cereal, citrus, banana, ginger, very fresh but not at all overwhelming. appearance is beautiful golden with white frothy head that lasts and lasts and lasts ... high carbonation and lively beer wich tastes of medium sweetness, banana and pineapple, very fruity, bit yeasty, distinct coriander, lightly bitter at the end (quite metallic). lacks a bit depth, but an excellent triple (7,5 abv) on a cosy summer terrace
