COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Even today, tradition is respected because it is brewed with the greatest care, using traditional methods, based on a unique recipe from Brabant Hesbaye. The amber colour is the result of brewing a pure variety of two-row spring malt, the addition of roasted wheat along with a careful selection of spices in its recipe. La Ramée is a non-filtered high fermentation beer, re-fermented in the bottle, exceptionally easily to digest, with a slightly peppery flavour.

Strong, bitter taste with a nute of spices. White foam, stays for 3 minutes. A "honey" colour.

Clear goldblond beer with medium rocky white head and lots of carbonation. Fruity yeasty aroma. Full sparkling palate. Finish is fruity hoppy ending sweet.

Piana bombowa i wielgachna. Finisz wytrawny i rozgrzewający

Test vom 16.11.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,8,6,7,12,7 - 7,55

Tried this on draft/keg at a restaurant in Brugge, slightly cloudy bright golden colour, looks good, nice white head. Smooth aroma, no rich woody spice you expect with this style. Good smooth flavour, very good balance of malt, hops and alcohol, pleasing smooth aftertaste, very drinkeable with no rich heavyness. The wife rated it best beer she drank while in Belgium, to me it is a good thirst quencher but I prefer a deeper flavour. Still a good beer though.

Slightly cloudy, more amber than blond I’d say, with a decent bit of foam though not very thick. Pretty classic nose with a sweet hint. A good deal of carbonation on the tongue and surprisingly alcoholic though overall it’s a well balanced mix with the hops and malts. Sugars ensure that the end result is not too bitter. The aftertaste still shows some alcohol (never too prominent though) and caramelized malts, less bitter than the initial taste. Some spices on top of the warming alcohol, making this a decent or even good tripel. Nothing breath taking but pretty powerful.

Brandman (1440) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUN 26, 2012
- hazy yellow golden white head - fruity, exotic fruit soap, some lactic acid, yeast - fuits with alcohol, yeast cuts the taste to semi dry, but not balanced at all - yeasty honey, spicey, perfumy notes - just a nice one, but still lots of good attributes missing

330ml bottle. Herbal, sweet aromas. Pours golden some hazy, with nice white head, quickly disipating, poor lacing. Medium body and high carbonation. Taste is yeasty, spicy, some sweet hints. Balanced, but some lack of character.
