COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Even today, tradition is respected because it is brewed with the greatest care, using traditional methods, based on a unique recipe from Brabant Hesbaye. The amber colour is the result of brewing a pure variety of two-row spring malt, the addition of roasted wheat along with a careful selection of spices in its recipe. La Ramée is a non-filtered high fermentation beer, re-fermented in the bottle, exceptionally easily to digest, with a slightly peppery flavour.

Used to be 8%. Changed to 7.5% at least 2015, maybe earlier.

Pours out lightly orange. Medium sized white head that holds ok. Sourness and spices at the smell. Lots of spices it seems Weird sweetness comes up at the taste, some fruits, lots of spices, something weird that I can’t give a name. Not bad, expected worse.

UPDATED: OCT 20, 2013 33cl bottle. Pours a clear golden with a little white head; Nose : Bubblegum fresh caramel malts with a yeasty aromas. Banana. Sip : Full, oil body with nice carbonation. Strawberry, banana and pears sweet notes with following yeast sourness. Ending with a little bitterness. Fresh. Overall : surprisingly exiting beer. Another tripple like rich beer but much more fresh. It reminds me of a lighter version of Tripple Karmeliet.

A mid golden beer with a frothy white head. A light malty aroma, biscuity and a hint of fruit. Dry mouthfeel. The rate Kim's off with a dry, biscuity malt flavour, then there is a mild fruity tartness towards then end. The finish is tart and fruity but the maltiness lingers in the background. Tasted at Brasserie du Lombard, Brussels. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
