Even today, tradition is respected because it is brewed with the greatest care, using traditional methods, based on a unique recipe from Brabant Hesbaye. The amber colour is the result of brewing a pure variety of two-row spring malt, the addition of roasted wheat along with a careful selection of spices in its recipe. La Ramée is a non-filtered high fermentation beer, re-fermented in the bottle, exceptionally easily to digest, with a slightly peppery flavour.

Bottle from Delhaize. Blond colour, white foam. Medium carbonation. Light sweet malty notes with fruity taste and light hoppy finish. Good but nothing exceptional.

Bottle. Everyone else who has rated this is full of it. Oakesey, you had an infected bottle. This had a multi-toned golden hue, a decent eggshell head, and some effervescent bubbles. The nicest looking beer calling itself a "blonde" that I’ve ever seen. Hefe-like qualities but with a very well-pronounced malty finish that compliments the crisp and effervescent beginning. Firm mouthfeel, dry finish - very nice. Warming. This is going to be one of my more against-the-grain ratings in a while, but I *loved* this stuff. I’ll even go so far as to wonder if it would improve with age, and it, like me in high school, isn’t even in the top 50%.

UPDATED: OCT 20, 2013 33cl bottle. Pours a clear golden with a little white head; Nose : Bubblegum fresh caramel malts with a yeasty aromas. Banana. Sip : Full, oil body with nice carbonation. Strawberry, banana and pears sweet notes with following yeast sourness. Ending with a little bitterness. Fresh. Overall : surprisingly exiting beer. Another tripple like rich beer but much more fresh. It reminds me of a lighter version of Tripple Karmeliet.

Blond beer with a small head. Sweet, a slight flowery aroma. A bit sweet with a yeasty taste. Well balanced but a bit flat.
