4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Everyone else who has rated this is full of it. Oakesey, you had an infected bottle. This had a multi-toned golden hue, a decent eggshell head, and some effervescent bubbles. The nicest looking beer calling itself a "blonde" that I’ve ever seen. Hefe-like qualities but with a very well-pronounced malty finish that compliments the crisp and effervescent beginning. Firm mouthfeel, dry finish - very nice. Warming. This is going to be one of my more against-the-grain ratings in a while, but I *loved* this stuff. I’ll even go so far as to wonder if it would improve with age, and it, like me in high school, isn’t even in the top 50%.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
A bit of astringency and some lite fruits are immediately evident. Pear and apple notes with a bit of grass and mild spice, possibly seeds of paradise. Thin and watery mouthfeel with a bit of hop grass and residual sugar in the finish.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: OCT 20, 2013 33cl bottle. Pours a clear golden with a little white head; Nose : Bubblegum fresh caramel malts with a yeasty aromas. Banana. Sip : Full, oil body with nice carbonation. Strawberry, banana and pears sweet notes with following yeast sourness. Ending with a little bitterness. Fresh. Overall : surprisingly exiting beer. Another tripple like rich beer but much more fresh. It reminds me of a lighter version of Tripple Karmeliet.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A nice looking, cloudy honey colored brew with a fine-bubbled, off-white head.
A sweet, herbacious, floral scent....the more I sniff, the more this reminds me of a sweet, flowery Hefeweizen.
A bit sweet with an unusual "After Shave" quality with the alcohol and the spicy-floral tastes. Seems to lack the depth of other Belgians, not bad but not quite up to par with many of it’s peers.
I’d try this again, with a "harder" pour to get rid of some of the carbonation.
