Even today, tradition is respected because it is brewed with the greatest care, using traditional methods, based on a unique recipe from Brabant Hesbaye. The amber colour is the result of brewing a pure variety of two-row spring malt, the addition of roasted wheat along with a careful selection of spices in its recipe. La Ramée is a non-filtered high fermentation beer, re-fermented in the bottle, exceptionally easily to digest, with a slightly peppery flavour.

Used to be 8%. Changed to 7.5% at least 2015, maybe earlier.

Bottle, poured into a duvel glass. Pours hazy orange with a thin white head. Smells bready and yeasty. Taste is nice and bitter with tons of slcohol leading to a burning finish. The mouthfeel is extremely crisp with tons of carbonation. Overall not bad but I feel like the alcohol over powers the beer.

Cloudy orange coloured, small but lasting head. Very fruity aroma, apple, orange, some others as well. Not as much fruit in flavour, but lots of hops resulting in a bitter flavour. The dry finish is not really my thing.

Served a little cooler than recommended, about 3c. Pours excellent into a Duvel chalice, beautiful head and a foggy beige body. Lots of hops on the nose, some coriander, bread. Taste is sharp malts, hops, spicy finish. Nice and unique.

UPDATED: OCT 20, 2013 33cl bottle. Pours a clear golden with a little white head; Nose : Bubblegum fresh caramel malts with a yeasty aromas. Banana. Sip : Full, oil body with nice carbonation. Strawberry, banana and pears sweet notes with following yeast sourness. Ending with a little bitterness. Fresh. Overall : surprisingly exiting beer. Another tripple like rich beer but much more fresh. It reminds me of a lighter version of Tripple Karmeliet.

Pours out lightly orange. Medium sized white head that holds ok. Sourness and spices at the smell. Lots of spices it seems Weird sweetness comes up at the taste, some fruits, lots of spices, something weird that I can’t give a name. Not bad, expected worse.
