Even today, tradition is respected because it is brewed with the greatest care, using traditional methods, based on a unique recipe from Brabant Hesbaye. The amber colour is the result of brewing a pure variety of two-row spring malt, the addition of roasted wheat along with a careful selection of spices in its recipe. La Ramée is a non-filtered high fermentation beer, re-fermented in the bottle, exceptionally easily to digest, with a slightly peppery flavour.

Used to be 8%. Changed to 7.5% at least 2015, maybe earlier.

In 2015-2016 for sure brewed at Du Bocq.

UPDATED: JUN 26, 2014 Variant van tap: 6,8%. Mooi goudkleurig met kleine witte kraag. Aroma is kruidig, gras, gist. Fris. Smaak is subtiel zoet, lekker zacht in de mond. Lekker zomers blond bier. Variant van fles: 7,5%. Nevelig en goudkleurig met kleine witte kraag. Lichte amber gloed.

Bottle of 33cl, in a Trappist glass; from the fridge. Nice blond beer, strong in aroma and taste. Usual blond belgian beer, with small taste of wheat. Good

Nez fruité, acidulé. Goût rond, souple, fruité. Plutôt facile à boire, mais relativement puissante. Bonne bière, manque de longueur.

Bottle 33cl. Volle biersmaak, peperachtig, lichtzoetige afdronk, troebel goudkleurig, van mij mogen die Belgen het EK winnen.

33 cl. bottle at home. Medium high fluffy white lasting head. Clear amber golden body. Sweet flowery honey straw aroma. Highly carbonated straw apple pear honey flavor with hints of alcohol combined with a nice hops bitterness. Long bittersweet finish.

330ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish, deep golden colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity, wheaty aroma, notes of banana, apple, pear and apricot, a sweet-ish touch of oat flakes. Taste is slightly bitter hoppy, a minimally biting, tangy touch is reinforced by some peppery yeasty spiciness, moderately sweet-ish, oaty, pale malty basis, fruity hints of banana and apricot. Rather clean, nice fruitiness, good drinkability despite significant sweetness.

Light Amber pour. Spicy with some dry hop flavor. A little light fruit sweetness...grapes, a hint of melon. Crisp and dry. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
