Even today, tradition is respected because it is brewed with the greatest care, using traditional methods, based on a unique recipe from Brabant Hesbaye. The amber colour is the result of brewing a pure variety of two-row spring malt, the addition of roasted wheat along with a careful selection of spices in its recipe. La Ramée is a non-filtered high fermentation beer, re-fermented in the bottle, exceptionally easily to digest, with a slightly peppery flavour.

UPDATED: JUN 26, 2014 Variant van tap: 6,8%. Mooi goudkleurig met kleine witte kraag. Aroma is kruidig, gras, gist. Fris. Smaak is subtiel zoet, lekker zacht in de mond. Lekker zomers blond bier. Variant van fles: 7,5%. Nevelig en goudkleurig met kleine witte kraag. Lichte amber gloed. Aroma is ook hier kruidig, gist, brood, peper, hop. Lichte citrus in de mond. Bitterder en minder zoet dan de variant van de tap en wat mij betreft daarom ook wat minder lekker. Prikkelend co2, medium body. 7/4/6/3/12 = 3,2

A mid golden beer with a frothy white head. A light malty aroma, biscuity and a hint of fruit. Dry mouthfeel. The rate Kim's off with a dry, biscuity malt flavour, then there is a mild fruity tartness towards then end. The finish is tart and fruity but the maltiness lingers in the background. Tasted at Brasserie du Lombard, Brussels. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From a bomber bought in a market in Lille poured in a Tulip. Weak grainy alcohol aroma. Appearance is cloudy orange. Flavor is grainy, bright, slight alcohol burn, coriander spice finish. Good, but lacking a little depth and complexity and tastes very alcoholic for only 8% ABV.

Blond abbey tripel with medium, snow white head and deep golden colour. Malty profile, sweetish, honey, citrus zest, some yeast spiciness; smooth and slick, a hint of popcorn, soft spicy notes, mild herbal hop bitterish finish. Gentle and elegant, albeit stereotypical tripel.

Pours clear golden with a big white head. It has the aroma of sweet malts, citrus and herbs. It tastes light sweet and medium bitter with a herbal finish. The body is light and the texture quite thin though. Carbonation is a bit too lively. Not too heavy in taste. Not exceptional.
