RichardGretton (2682), Leicestershire, England Jul 29, 2007 Bottle@Les Planches pres Arbois, Jura, France. Brown beer with a reddish tinge and a light head. The aroma is watery, lightly roasted and caramel. The flavour is rich and quite weakly toffee. Overall a good mildly strong malty beer. BeerBiker (1209), Odense, Denmark May 31, 2007 Sampled on a great bike tour in France in 2004 in various circumstances in unforgetable landscapes. Aroma and flavor of this brew is over average and not bad for a french microbrew. ogivlado (2399), Zagreb, Croatia Aug 1, 2006 Bottled(330ml). -nice amber coloured, pale beige head, caramel nose. Aroma is sweet malty, slight spicy and coffeeish. Drinkable but nothing beyond that. maeib (4012), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England May 17, 2006 Bottled. A mahogany brown coloured beer with no head. The aroma is malty with brown sugar, brown bread and alcohol notes. The taste is also nice and malty. Berry fruits and raisins amidst a woody background. A nice body and a real nice taste. Amazing how this brewery brews such variable beers. Emil (6077), Copenhagen, Denmark Jan 12, 2006 Bottle. AMber colour with a small off-white head.
