Bottle@Les Planches pres Arbois, Jura, France. Brown beer with a reddish tinge and a light head. The aroma is watery, lightly roasted and caramel. The flavour is rich and quite weakly toffee. Overall a good mildly strong malty beer.

Sampled on a great bike tour in France in 2004 in various circumstances in unforgetable landscapes. Aroma and flavor of this brew is over average and not bad for a french microbrew.

Bottled(330ml). -nice amber coloured, pale beige head, caramel nose. Aroma is sweet malty, slight spicy and coffeeish. Drinkable but nothing beyond that.

Bottled. A mahogany brown coloured beer with no head. The aroma is malty with brown sugar, brown bread and alcohol notes. The taste is also nice and malty. Berry fruits and raisins amidst a woody background. A nice body and a real nice taste. Amazing how this brewery brews such variable beers.

Bottle. AMber colour with a small off-white head. Barnyard, yeasty, fruity aroma and a sweet light roasted, barnyard, fruity taste. Medium body with a sweet light dry finish.
