750 ml bottle. Pours a very cloudy pale golden with a orange hue. Resilient, thick, creamy white head. Aroma is spicy, peppery, pear, mint and vanilla. Flavor is pepper, pear, vanilla, bubble gum. Hints of herbs, spicy, rather soft finish. Lingering cereals and sweetbread. Medium body, average to strong carbonation. Very refreshing, soft and tasty.

Bottle. Hazy pale golden, whitish head. Sweet maltyness, bit of spicyness and hints of citrus fruits in aroma. Also some hay is present. Grassy notes, bit of breadyness and lemony notes in taste. Citrusy spicyness with some bitterness in aftertaste. Alright, a straightforward Belgian ale, which feels a bit light perhaps considering the abv here, but quite refreshing for that matter. Summer meadow mixed with honey sweetness in finish.

On tap at The Delirium Bar, Brussels Belgium. Golden yellow color, slightly hazy. Aromas of yeast, coriander and some spices. Sweet taste of caramel, malts, some yeast and spices, maybe honey with hop notes backing up. Medium aftertaste, slightly sweet. Medium body with medium carbonation. Quite drinkable.

Alengrin (2425) - BELGIUM - AUG 28, 2014
Blonde ale hovering between a normal session blonde and a tripel, with delicate, stable, snow white head and warm golden blonde colour with orange hue, clear but turning hazy and eventually fully clouded as the bottle is gradually emptied in the glass. Malty and fruity aroma, apple, orange, white candi sugar, straw, pineapple, yeast, iron. Pale malt sweetness, apple, drying in the course of the palate and ending in a mildly hopped finish with faint presence of alcohol.

Ik vind dit bier samen met de tripel niet zo goed, weinig smaak aan dit bier.

Bottle, shared with Parksy at the lake. Gassy pour, medium golden body, massive white head. Sweet pale malts, estery (fresh pear) and slightly phenolic (plastic), with a kiss of grassy hops in the finish. Not bad.

ThirstyBird (1696) - Düsseldorf, GERMANY - JUL 18, 2014
Pours a cloudy deep dull honey color with a lofty off-white head. The smell is honey, spice, mildly toasted malt, light fruit. The taste is spice, fruit, mild malt, hint of lemon on the aftertaste with some nice dryness. The body is on the light side of medium with elegant and smooth carbonation. Really nice stuff.
