Bottle 750ml @ TFODRBSG12
Pours dark ruby brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, brown sugar and grassy hops. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle @ Summer Gathering, Ulfborg. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are roast malt, nuts, caramel and hops. Very dry finish.

UPDATED: SEP 22, 2012 Bottle, at HaandFestival 2012. It pours a dark brown body, looking quite clear, and topped by a finger-thick beige head leaving lacings. The aroma is roasted, tending towards burnt, followed by dried fruits and some grassy, resiny hops. The flavor is sweet and lightly caramel-ish, with raisins, bitterness and some sourish hints. Medium to full body, soft and nicely carbonated. Overall, maybe a bit soft and tender, but it’s a fine brew anyway. Rating: 7-4-7-4-14-3.6. 120504

Bottle, 75cl, at TFODRBSG-12. It pours a lightly unclear, light brown body and a dense, off-white to light beige head. Quite chocolatey aroma, with some sugar, dried fruits and roasted malts. Chocolate dominated the flavor too, with some roasted notes and dried fruits as well. Toffee too. A little bitterness in the end. Full-bodied, lightly warming, which suprises me as it’s only 6.5%, and with a pleasant carbonation. Remembered this to be a more interesting beer, but it’s far from bad, just a little bit ordinary. 120818

Bottle @ TFODRBSG, Ulfborg. Clear dark amber with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, roasted malt and nutty. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 180812

Bottle 6.5% @ FOneFan, Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering 2012. Dark amber/red with small tan head. Aroma is light roasted malts, chocolate and dusty. Flavour is malt, yeast, chocolate, hops, medium sweet, little dusty and a little bitter.

On bottle from Vinmonopolet Vika. Dark color, good foam. Chocolate aromas and some light hops & malt Medium body & full complexity. Good carbonation , well balanced . Very enjoyable ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. 2 inch head on dark brown. Very light cocoa aroma with a dash of alcohol. Dusty brown Belgian ale. Not an immediately impressive statement beer. Nice slightly above average dusty Belgian brown.

Shared 75 cl bottle at Cardinal. Hazy mahogany/hazelnut with a light brown medium head. Candy sugar, spices, cinnamon and dried fruits on the nose. Spicy, sweet toasted and light fruity flavors. Medium body. Light dry tongue. Long toasted finish.
