Io vado decisamente controcorrente, a me sta birra mi è garbata e parecchio. Colore ambrato-marrone, naso di frutta scura, ma in bocca ha una beva meravigliosa e un retrogusto caldo e lungo che mi piace un sacco...

750ml bottle from Systembolaget. Dark brown, creamy and dense tanned head, rich lacing. Caramel aroma, gentle roasted malt, leafy hops, ash, red berries and grapes. Medium-bodied, medium carbonated, smooth and crisp mouthfeel. The taste follows the aroma with rounded gentle roasted notes, toffee, caramel, biscuits, nuts and ash. Chalky finish with roasted bitterness. Well made!

75 cl partagée avec ma femme. Couleur quasi noire, belle mousse crémeuse. Nez : fruits rouges, caramel, candi.

Bottle. Poured hazy brown with tan head. Nose was caramel, figgy fruit, yeasty funk. Tasted earthy, semi-dry, with cobwebby dark fruit esters, an old aley malt profile, and a smooth finish.

UPDATED: JUN 4, 2016 Donker bier met mokkakleurig compact schuim. Kruidig aroma. Peperkoek, beetje koffie. Beetje zurige aanzet van smaak met licht bittere afdronk. Koffie, heel licht rokerig. Best lekker maar er zijn betere.

Bottle at home. Pours near-black with dark red hints against the light. Large off-white head that fades to a tight layer of foam. Good aroma: dusty, roasted malt and a funky, peppery, nettle-like hop smell. A bit of sweetness to start, then a gentle bitterness to balance. Rich malt, some fruit and licorice flavours, with more nettle hop and a leafy taste that reminds me of Westmalle Dubbel. Not too strong, this is a very tasty and drinkable beer. I like it.
