Thanks again to Greg. There was a stubbled, louche-looking elf on the label. Dark brown pour with a good-sized Belgian topper. A light amber-brown ale that seems more American than Belgian. It had a little (unwelcome) Coca-Cola flavor and light spiciness. There was a dash of earthy tang and some sweetness in the aroma. I didn’t really go for the astringent taste - it seemed amber-like to me, and I’m not a fan of most amber ales.

Deep brown color. Thin brown, while lace. Excellent texture. Strong roast smell, like double, slight chocolate nose. A bit weak, but good body, bold flavor, excellent finish.

AROMA: grass, alcohol, cereal, APPEARANCE: brown, hazy, frothy, TASTE: medium bitterness, PALATE: full body, thick feel, lively, bitter, long finish, OVERALL: drinkable, but not too special, quite bitter, interesting hoppiness in the aroma.

Bue à la pression au Delirium Café @Bruxelles. Apparence ambrée trouble, peu d'arômes au nez. Par contre bel équilibre gustatif, malts présents dérivant ensuite sur le caramel et les fruits secs.

750ml bottle, split amongst friends. Poured a pretty clear amber color, medium sized slightly off-white head. Aroma was light spices, some malts. Flavor was nice light spices. Muted citrus notes. Very pleasant to drink, spices are subtle, but are not lost in the base beer.
