750ml from Once Upon a Vine, Richmond. Decent looking brown pour, with slight reddish/orange hues and a frothy cream head. Malty aroma and some pert fruit, fairly anonymous winter spice too. The flavor is slightly yeasty, with some zing from the hops to liven the chewy malts. Body is thinnish, and trends perilously close to watery at the finish. Tastes kinda washed out in some sense. Not bad.

Bottle… Pours very murky and dark with ruby highlights and a small, creamy, khaki head. Big-time staying power. The aroma provides notes of warm bread, brown sugar, dark fruits and caramel. Medium to full-bodied with laid-back carbonation. Sweet, roasted flavors of singed caramel, black bread and candied dark fruits. Lengthy, bittersweet, yeasty finish. Bottle courtesy of smith4498!

10/01 0.75 l bottle courtesy of ogivlado, great thanks for sharing! It poured murky brown body with bigger brownish head that left nice lacing later while drinking. Nice yeasty, spicy, caramel and chocolate aroma. Citrus hops, specially orange is also noted here and pronounced in flavor. Coffee is dominating otherwise, over hints of chocolate and sweet sugar. Nice but desperately thin bodied for the style. Finish is citrus hop and coffee bitterish which become lightly caramel sweet at the very end. Good beer which would be great with more body!
