On tap, Delirium Cafe, Brussels. Light golden, medium white head, good retention. Aroma and initial taste combines citruses, hops. Pleasant lasting strongly bitter palate. The light body with reasonably low ABV (5.2%) makes it a good refreshing option on a hot day. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle, shared with Parksy at the lake, May long weekend. Medium golden with a dense foamy white head that shows good retention. Light pear and grassy hop notes accompany biscuit malts. Drinkable, enjoyable, but not very complex. But sometimes you’re not looking for complexity, and good is just good.

Belle mousse fine, au bullage très fin. Tenue moyenne. Belle couleur paille claire. Le nez est houblonné et citronné et vraiment frais. Une belle fraîcheur et une douceur agréable forme l’attaque avec une belle longueur houblonnée et sèche.

glennmastrange (2240) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - APR 30, 2014
Bottle. Moderate straw for the malt, moderate herbs and flowers for the hops, light dried leaves for the yeast, with background notes of boiled rice and celery. Head is small, frothy, white with a spot or two of lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is clear medium amber, but muddies up on the last pour. Flavor starts lightly sweet and acidic, then finishes lightly to moderately acidic and bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery with a fizzy carbonation. This Belgian Ale is a little light in flavor and feel, but it does make for a good springtime beer.
