mcberko (5921) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 14, 2014
On tap at Moeder Lambic Fontainas, pours a cloudy dark orange with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out Belgian yeast, earthy notes, and light fruitiness. Flavour brings out dank earthy notes, with Belgian yeast, toasted malt, and dry bready malt. On the dankier, earthier side for a Belgian ale. Decent stuff.

On tap at a "Biéres Speciales" day in Belgium. Pours a hazy lightly brownish copper colour with a thin white head. Aroma is hoppy, yeasty and light caramel. Average carbonation and medium body. Taste is smooth, balanced, medium bitter and medium sweet with a dry finish. Overall, a very pleasant beer.

Countbeer (4301) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - MAR 28, 2014
Bottle: Served in a Duvel glass: Medium sized white to off white foamy head on top of a hazy orange colored beer. Aromas of malts and caramel, some herbs, some hops and light fruity. Flavour is a crispy mix of floral and hop tones, some malts, nice bitters, some herbs, light yeasty and a crispy fruit with a chalky edge. Aftertaste is a mix of bitters, malts, herbs and some wood ish tones. Low carbo, creamy mouthfeel, medium bodied and a creamy texture. Easy, enjoyable and quite nice!

from tap @ delirium. orange color, white head. nice nose, fruity, peaches, american hops but also biscuit butter. initial fruity taste, but fry fnish, bitter (minerals?). MF is ok, bit light. Overall good refreshing beer, fruity touch, has initialy something off in the taste, but if you can overcome that, good beer.

Arôme fruités (agrumes) en bouche une amertume douce, fruitée (pamplemousses, agrumes). Très agréable et facile à boire. A accompagner avec le chocolat qui va avec ou des fromages (chèvres...)

On tap @ Delirium. Cloudy copper color, with a solid head. Nose: malty, grains and a bit of hops. Taste: malty, sweet¸candied fruit and some bitterness. Not bad, but a bit middle-of-the-road.

0.75l bottle from Etre. This is a cloudy deep orange golden one with a really good looking massive off-white head with great retention. Before the head gets a chance to settle it smells really fruity and filled with fruit sweetness. Nice. Peachy and sweet apples with zesty and yeasty tones all the way. Enjoyable indeed. It has a mild oily mouthfeel with a average carbonation level. The taste and itself is not as sweet or fruity as the aroma lead to believe. Still, it has some fruity and definitely floral touches. Semi dry, not much sweetness left here, almost a bit mineralish with hints of canned fruits like pear, mandarins and apples. Subtle but there. Ends with a hint of something almost grassy and herbal while it’s leaving a nice zesty citrus bitter aftertaste. Actually quite a alright this one! 17.07.2013

Dobre belgijskie Ale, Sygnowane Jean Chris. To piwo z oszczedna piana i sporym nagazowaniem ze stylowa i delikatna etykieta przypomina mi piwo kasztanowe z Amiaty. Kolor brazu podobny, zapach no i smak. Wrazenie takze mialem jak belgijski dobry saison.

Amber body and lasting head. Quality malts, light caramel, very classic yeast base, well, yet classically hopped. Belgian ales aren’t a particularly interesting style but this is very high quality stuff. Fairly clean, good bitterness, high yet fitting carbonation. Nice. (75cl bottle from Dranken Geers)
