UPDATED: NOV 22, 2014 An orange-brown beer with a big and blond head. The aroma has fruits, mandarin, some citrusfruits and fructose, wood, hint of roasted malts. Taste is slightly fruitfull, biscuity malts, wooden hops, also some herbs. Medium bodied, lots of carbonation, easy and fresh to drink. Quite good beer, interesting mix of fruits and wood.

75cl bottle. Red/brown and hazy. The head is ivory and quite thick and big. Nose : wet laundry, cheese, toast. Citrus and flower notes. Sip : low density with oily texture. Sweet like a toast with some bitter orange marmalade. Develops quite bitter hops with burned toast bitterness that lasts long in the aftertaste. Overall it tastes like an English bitter but with stronger hop bite. OK

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: JUL 15, 2015 75cl bottle from Miorge mihoublon, Arlon. (2x75cl package with chocolates). Quite a subtle saison-based brew with multiple layers and no real or very shy up-front aromas. Cloudy orange/grassy yellow, nice and upper medium body, creamy mouthfeel. Quite an impressive, if somewhat unfathomable bouquet of country fruits, subdued esters, gentle spiciness and funky tartness: yet very drinakble, almost a session saison - had the whole 75cl bottle by myself one evening and am still pleasantly puzzled. // rerate new bottle bb03/2013: either the recipe has been overturned or my tastebuds have improved dramatically: Tastes like an elegantly finetuned crossover hoppy spéciale belge, UK ESB and Belgian IPA. layered cakey malts doused with sandlewood and mild cinnamon-like spice cushion a slowly unfolding earthy orange rind hop bitterness that overtakes in the finish. Reveled in every sip, although objectively maybe slightly unbalanced, stylewise.

Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle.
The beer pours an orange-yellow color with a white head. The aroma is full of bread and biscuit malt, with a little bit of sugar. The flavor is very similar. I get a lot of very dry pilsner-style malt, as well as some Belgian yeast. There is not real hop character in the flavor. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

In bottle. Pours a golden colour with a fair white head. Aroma of pineapple, passion fruit, caramel and lemon. Similar flavours with moderate carbonation and CO2 prickle and a foamy mouth-feel. Alcohol is well balanced. OK.

Bottle, mi orge, mi houblon. Pours copper, slightly hazy, thick bubbly white head. Nose is biscuity malt, yeasty freshness, bread, slight candied dark fruit. Hoppiness adds freshness. Mouth is initially smooth malty, touch of lactic vanilla, spice, amarillo and bread. Touch metallic, thin-ish end with warm maltiness, cocoa powder, nice dry finish. Quite nice really.

750ml bottle from Mi Orge Mi Houblon, Arlon, Belgium!!!
The beer in the glass is light copper colored with a creamy, off-white, long-lasting head. It smells wonderful hoppy and fruity, much Amarillo, in the background slightly yeasty and sourish. Starts with lots of aroma hops, fruity and sweet, with a pleasant bitterness. The middle part is very spicy and hoppy, yeasty and slightly caramelly-roasty. Goes into a hoppy-bitter, and yeasty-caramelly finish!
