A golden color with a white head. Aroma is citrusy with lots of herbal notes and spices. The flavor contains some citrus, vanilla, honey, and spices. I taste some oranges similar to an orange flavored ice cream. The alcohol doesnt show up at all. Overall very nice stuff.

Pours a clear and sparkling gold with a huge white head. The nose is spicy, fruity and floral with aromas of lemons, peaches, grassy notes and cereals. Light citrus and spicy hop notes in the middle with earthy malt and citrus fruit on the finish. The finish has a yeast flavour that lingers as well a spicy note. A bit boozy too.

Backlog rating. 75cl bottle at home. It pours a deep golden color with a large white head. Aroma is spicy, fruity and citrusy, with notes of lemon juice, ripe peaches, freshly cut grass and grains. Taste is citrusy and spicy, with notes of dough, yeast, ripe peaches, citrus peel and grains. Finishes quite spicy and yeaty, lightly boozy. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, another good one from La Rulles

Beautiful hazed sunset orange, poured into my struise glass. Towering rocky foam. Honeyed apples, sticky brown sugar, straw and alcohol compose the yeast forward aroma. Oxidation seems to be looming, with wet wood and super dry caramel. Dry, brownish spices are mysteriously apparent.

Dried pears and apples linger lazily in the nose, and lead the dry malt and yeast oriented flavor. This is sodden and earthy for the most part, age and oxidation seeming long established, though that seems incorrect. Wildflower honey suggests hops fleetingly, and then simply blends in. Oak, white pepper, and an alcoholic coloring of weedy adhesive.

Texturally, this is initially watery and syrupy at the end. The flavors demand effervescence and aren’t satisfied. The bottle offers no suggestion of the age, while it feels to be recently expired, consistently. Rotten banana peel, mealy pear flesh finish. For me this is a highly reputable brewery, and this offering is unsatisfying.
