3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle shared by Ken at CBC tasting. It pours cloudy golden with a thick white head. The nose is earth, sherbet, pear, apple, melon, hay and icing sugar. The taste is hay, earth, icing sugar. sherbet, decent bitterness, toast, pear, melon, alcohol warmth, mustiness and dirt. Medium-full body, high carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Not a whole lot to it and perhaps a touch sweet. Still not bad.

Craft Clerkenwell Tasting. Light haze on this gold beer. Mahooosive off white head. Palate is light, fluffy and a little dry. Light bitterish yeast. Touch of caraway nutty pale malt. Mild dried fruits. Finishes bitter. Interesting and quite drinkable.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle split at Craft Clerko, big thanks to Ken, 26/06/13.
Hazed yellow blonde with a white covering, some floaties on show but they had pretty faces so I kept the score as a 4!
Nose is grass, wheaten notes, lemon rind, grain, sugars, touch of booze, bitter orange.
Taste comprises bitter orange, lemon rind, light yeast, bready malt, grass, warming booze.
Full bodied, moderate carbonation, ever warming alcohol in the finish.
Ok beer, not a lot of depth and the booze was on the harsh side. Glad to be sharing a small pour and not nursing a bottle between 2 !

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle shared by the legendary Madmitch76. The pour’s deep amber with a tiny head. The nose is wild yeast, hints of brett, melon. Belgian yeast sweetness. Some brioche. The taste is more sweet breadiness, some cantaloupe. Apple butter. Mild wild yeast notes. Strong sweet syrup. Full body, soft carbonation. Overall, just a bit sweet and heavy for me on this occasion. OK.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
15cl at the Portes Ouvertes 2013. Golden bright yellow in colour with a minor but persistent head. A complexity of aromas and flavour that turns it into a great beer. The alcoholic content is almost unnoticeable what turns it into a dangerous beer. I will have another one, please.
