Large white head, lots of clinging foam leaving multiple lace rings. Nose is citrusy, herbal, yeasty, spicy. Taste starts with citrusy-candied orange sweetness, bread and honey, moves into yeasty spicy notes with grass notes. Late grassy and straw like notes with a bitterness that sticks around. Body is medium, lively and fine bubbled carbonation on the tongue. Big drinkability for a 10% beer, doesn’t ever feel heavy or boozy. A nice strong golden Belgian brew.

February 2013. From a 750 ml. bottle. Poured golden orange with a white head. The flavors are a little sweet without being over done. Yeast and malt flavors are blended nicely and keeps everything in balance.

Bottle shared by Nnudd. Pours clear golden with a medium white head. The aroma is grassy and malty with yeasty and fruity notes. The flavor is sweet malty and has notes of fruit, grass and spices. Great balance and refreshing for the abv.

75cl bottle shared with Dutchdrebus and Joes @ De Baron, Eindhoven. Clear orange color, medium sized white to off - white head that leaves fair lacing. Smell and taste malts, fruityness, slightly cardboard, a bit yeasty, a bit dry. Quite decent, but not spectacular. Medoum body, low to medium carbonation.

From tasting notes. Bottle. Pours an unclear gold with a small white head. Aroma is fruity and yeasty with grassy/earthy hops notes. Moderately sweet with flavors of fruits, yeast, pale malts, wood, light spice and a touch of alcohol. More alcohol in the finish.

Bottle, sampled at 16th St. Liquor Store, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, some light tropical fruits, feint candied sugar and dry hops. Flavour of apple skins, tropical fruits, Belgian yeast, dry hops and bread. Light bodied but full flavoured. Good stuff but a bit unbalanced towards the hops.

750ml bottle, Millesime 2011. Shared with Robin and Stefaan. Scotland trip. Hazy blond coloured beer with no carbonation and a larger white head. Herby sweeter malty veggy hinted aroma. Medium to full palate. Finish is sweet veggy and herby hoppy noted with a short alcoholic hint. medium.
