Bottle, 7.2%. OK sweet, malty aroma. Muddy orange colour. Big, stable light brown head. Sweetish flavour with some citric notes. Good, but I had hoped for more from Rulles.

Bottle at the Düsseldorf Gathering. Hazy, ambery body. Off-white head. Aroma of caramel, hops, ... Not very complex flavour. Lightly bitter, lightly sweet flavour. Had expected more from this La Rulles beer.

Dusseldorf Gathering, Bottled. Aroma of sweet fruits with a hint of licorice. Sweet, apple, light bitter, cloying. No complexity at all and even a bit unbalanced. I’d almost say "nice for an amateur". Disappointed.

Yellowish, dense head over mossy-amber beer. Nice, lightly Bretty-lactic nose, fruity as from a lambic-based fruit beer (which it is neither!). Dry-leafy, earthy flavours. Chestnut flour, wild mushrooms. Unfortunately, all a bit subdued. Medium bodied, a bit tart aftertaste. Nice, as expected from Gregory. Still, just a little more punch behind would have made it great.
